I was gonna post that clip from wolf of wall street discussin the importance of rubbing the rocks off daily. Now I really wish I did :)
Thats funny that's the first thing i thought of while posting that.

That advice is not just for wall street fucks, it applies to us growers too.

Before I joined this site I was mainly watering and jerking off. Now I'm mainly watering and shooting the shit on here. I still get at least 1 good jerk off session a day, which has made the wife happier since I'm not completely spent from my usual 3-4 sessions LMFAO
Thanks for that, it was a good laugh

Clean the garden, top to bottom.

Make clones.

Take notes on the girls, how they grow, any sensitivity, issues I may have had. Flowering times, general expected weight per plant based on previous runs.

Pop more beans

Make bubble hash from trim. I love me some bubble hash, seems most don't appreciate hash these days. A shame really.

And finishing up a thesis.
I've been debating making some bubble all week. Think I might do it. Any good advice or youtubes for me?

Had a good buddy who learned how to drive and roll... seemed dangerous to me. He was driving a motorcycle too! LOL. I don't know how it's possible but apparently it is.

yeah that is crazy. driving an enclosed vehicle is one thing but a bike is exposed to the wind and the bud could blow away... quite the skill tho...

He rolled the best joints too. Rolled up an ounce joint for my bday - was a perfect cone and burned for like 4hrs.

Keep everything as cold as possible. Don't beat your material up either, no blenders. The cold temps, good, solid ice, and slight agitation is all you need to make liquid gold. There are a couple of good YouTube videos by Bubbleman and my favorite as far as method goes, Growing with Mr. Tight.

It's long, but worth the watch.

I'd rather watch a long video and do it right then watch a 5 minute video that skips all the steps. Thanks a bunch. Appreciate it.

  1. Freeze material
  2. Use a small bucket, and fill with ice and a decent amount of material
  3. Fill with cold water, but only enough to make it cover the ice and material
  4. Stir for about thirty minutes by hand. This is a pain, but using mechanical means tends to produce and introduce green material into the hash
  5. Always go for quality over quantity. I usually use 4 bags. A work bag of 220, a second bag of 160 (toss this straining or use it for cooking. A 120 bag will get you very nice golden hash, or use a 90 micron bag. Using a lower bag such as a 35 micron will collect broken trich heads and stems, this will turn to be a very tar like hash when dry.
  6. Let material pour through bags, don't force it, it can take a long time to drain.
  7. Let dry, usually I use a window to let the collected material dry in. You can double check if it's dry by popping the hash in the freezer. Any water will freeze on top of the hash.

Was watching an episode of hunters of the dank, think it was #5. and the guy at the end of the video stretched a bubble bag over a bowl and put the trim on top then covered in plastic and beat it. Got a nice amount of dry sieve in a few minutes.

It doesn't want to embed it at the set time so there's the link.

Def going to try bubble first as I haven't even used my bags yet, maybe after a run in the bags with water I'll try that and see the difference.

I recently tried dry ice method with the bags. The results weren't bad if you don't want to deal with the time and arm work that comes with making bubble.

I just think it's worth it to go the extra mile. Also since most of my material isn't just trim but I usually throw in the tiny shit buds near the bottom which certainly adds to the end product. Also interesting is how different plants yield different types of hash, but these days I generally make a salad hash so to speak

Oh also cure the finished product. Similar to bud, just keep the hash in an air tight jar and let it breath occasionally. You should notice some changes in the aroma

I only got about 25-27 g's of trim and 5 gallon bags :( My last crop didn't frost up nearly as much as I wanted so I barely got any trim, most of mine is OG Grape Krypt trim with a very little bit of TrainingDay. All with visible trichs on it, or it gets tossed.

I really don't want to wait for my next crop to finish in 3 months so I think I'll go ahead. Just don't think I'll use all 8 bags of my set. The 8 bag set seemed like such a good deal, now Im starting to think I should have went with the 1 gallon 4 bag.

Hash is head stash for me so overall yield isn't important but quality is my priority. That's why I toss my 160 bag.

I've never weighed my starting material, although due to water weight I don't think it would be the most accurate means of determining the end product. I never use dried starting material as far too much plant material ends up in the final product.

I'll have to take a picture during my next run of the different end products.

Eta I have 8 baga, I usually only run 4. Draining 8 bags takes way too long and I toss a bunch of it afterwards
