Well, in that case, you could put the unit in the hall near the building air return. Let that deal with the waste heat. Then run the freon lines "under the door."

1. half bath

3. no ventilation or air ducts in the bath
4. 1000 HPS light
5. 1000 digital ballast
6. i want to be able to close the door
7. there is a closet in the bath (pic below) with hookup for W/D that has no exhaust so they won't let you use.

i contacted an A/C guy yesterday and he said that it may be better to install vent that brings air into the bath..i'm just not sure if it's enough.

It is not a big enough space to grow any significant weight in weed. The dangers of you getting outed by smell, light and/or water issues might outweigh your desire to grow.

Since it is a small apartment how are you going to hide light when you open and close the door to service the area?? How are you going to hide the smell??

If I was going to do it I would go buy a door from Home Depot the same size as the door you have to the bathroom. I would then cut two holes in that door for ventilation. I would use that door and replace the original door when I left. The top hole is for output and the bottom one for passive intake. You could put some sort of smell masking device on the output.

However, there is no way that people will not smell it.

with negative pressure, a powerful enough carbon filter, and an extra carbon filter on standby (just in case), i think the smell can be masked effectively enough. she would have to harvest it all in that room though.

it's not that hard to make sure everything goes 100% right with a small room and a single light. hence why you have a backup carbon filter on standby (not my idea, credit to ASMALLVOICE).

might also be a good idea to have a backup fan on standby too, already mounted to the wall, in such a way that you only have to unclip the duct and move it over to the backup unit. a fan failure can be as bad or worse than a carbon filter failure.

boxes from home depot are about $3 and a uhaul won't run you more than $60 to $80.

The 50+K is from the sale of the business. It wont stay in the bank long. Got to figure out what investments to put it in though. Kinda nice to hit the ground running with a well paying career and a nice bonus as well.

Bank interest rates are less than 1% and if you think inflation is stagnant then that is just another thing you are wrong about. You lose money keeping it in the bank.

LIttle bucky... When I say I own my house, I do not mean that I pay a mortgage to the bank for the next 30 years. What I mean is that I own it because I bought it for cash. And that cash was from income that I have no difficulty proving to the IRS.
