SHAKE AND BAKE BABY! All bs aside tho, that shit and heroin is an epidemic where I live. I cant tell you how many people I know that died from heroin overdoses. One of which was my bestfriend whom I loved dearly. Why cant people just trip or smoke a bowl, drink a beer and be high enough?

everyone keeps saying heroin and meth are epidemics..did they just come outta coma?..its BEEN that way..meths been big since the 80s,and heroin is a mainstay..been popular since BEFORE charlie parker.hell its not met or heroin.its drugs period..the media shines light on whatevers gonna get money and accolades for our fine porcine friends out there...

Honestly, heroin was never big here. It came popular the last couple years. We have billboards on our freeways because of it lol. Meth use to be big when I was in HS, I tried glass a couple times, never cared for it. It died off for a while then right when heroin became big meth returned but it was that shake and bake shit, not the glass that use to circulate around these parts. I think the heroin tread around here is due to all the people who use to do pills (oxies) before the took up H.

oh def the pills made it increase in popularity,but man,ive been all over in my short 35yrs(almost 36) and even in my early 20s both were everywhere..from here to ny to oklahoma,denver.everywhere ive been/lived,ive seen signs of bad problems w theses substances..in oklahoma,ten years ago now,they had big POSTERS on the back walls of customer service areas in grocery stores "purchases of theses items i frequent or large amounts may indicate methamphetamine manufacture" and then it showed a pic of each ingredient..

Yeah, Rorys right, nothing new except whats been forgotten. Meth has been a staple in this area since the 70s even....things have actually gone the other way here, and there seems to be less going around. A lot of the older cookers have died or been run off, plus more folks are growing weed to make cash these days too. People warned us when we first moved out here that tweekers roamed the hills and that our place was pretty much guaranteed to get broken into, but so far it hasn't happened. Though the fire department out here said they were getting daily calls to go to meth labs in the early 90s and it would be one cooker ratting on another because they did want the competition.
But, yeah, the drugs have always been there, maybe you were too young to notice back in the day JJ05, no offense.

i agree..hell,i was 6or 8 and my dads buddy went to jail forever for selling a u.c. 6lbs of meth(thats like 1984!)...its all controlled by the media..remember the extacy scare of the mid 90s?..went away,replaced by heroin scare,then the meth scare of the early 2ks,now its pills,and in tge background,mollys getting some coverage..why? it turns heads,and makes big money in advertising..look at all the drug shows that have popped up..drugs inc,drugs made me doit,to catch a smuggler,history channel banks on it...
