My idea is to find someone who deserves a second chance.
Not a junkie.
I figure I'm going to have a little extra and it would cool to help someone out that deserves it.
Either that or I'm going to give the g for saving the honey bees because I need honey for my joints and without them the food chains ducked and it's bad.

A better application of funds would be to give it to someone that is struggling but might greatly improve their situation. A homeless person has too far to climb on 1k.

The worst thing you can do is give homeless people money. If you really want to help give them a place to sleep and shower and help them find a job. people are homeless because they suck at managing money, do drugs, or are lazy. There are a few people who have genuinely fallen on hard times but it is rare and drug addicts are very manipulative they will get that stack before you realize its gone.

You should give it to a shelter, theyd probably make the money stretch way more than you could and would be better able to find worthy recipients.

lots of high end residential construction and remodeling. multi-million dollar projects all over the place...

you heard from scoobs lately?
No, that's why I ask.
There was some chatter in one of his threads that he had died but I cannot confirm anything other than him not answering e mails, pm or phone calls.
He's supposed to be visiting me in a couple of months and yet nothing.
I hope it's not bad news cause Mrs. GWN & I really like the dude.

Yeah, right ? But check out the last couple of post's on his account & you'll see it sounds nothing like him which leads me to believe something's up.
Plus he hasn't responded to any of my PM's which is really out of character for him.

When scoping out homeless to help I have a simple test.

If they try to bum a smoke from me I won't give them one unless they A: Stay and chat for a minute, or B: offer to pay for it.

Usually if those two things happen I assume that they're on hard times or at least a decent person.

Of course a cigarette is a far leap from 1k.

Your generosity while well intended would probably be better used at a soup kitchen or a homeless shelter.....clownfreak9000 your desire to help others is admirable
