Clone that has a Cola

Hey there folks,

So although i am still pretty new to growing, this seems really weird to me.
I was checking on my clones and I have one clone that is not showing but one clear root.
i noticed the top seemed really different than the others and below is what it looks like.
Now the plant i took it from didn't/doesnt have this. Any input would help. Im guessing that the plant might be dieing so its pushing its self through the cycle? IDK.

You're cloning an auto?

Well I don't know. The clone I took this from is not an auto that I know of. If it is, are you not supposed to? I don't know much about auto's.
Doesn't it seem weird that it would have the flower already being that young?

You posted in the auto-flower section so I was checking if you truly are trying to clone an auto. Yea you're not supposed to clone autos as the clone will just grow from the point the auto was at when you cloned it, you can't put them back to veg.

Kinda of looks like that's what happened. Cloned an auto and it wants to flower but you said you don't think it is an auto. Do you know the strain that you're growing?

If you didn't clone an auto and your light is on 24 or 18/6 and not 12/12, then I don't know why the hell it would try to flower.

i think hes asking because this is the auto section and no if you took a cutting off of a flowering plant itll look like that.

yeah sorry, I chose this section hoping to get some answers. :)
I see, thank you for the input on the autos.
I do not know the strains unfortunately. The person I got the clones from did tell me what they were. I was just so excited to get them. LOL.
But like I said, the plant I cloned them from isn't an auto. I just turned my 1st 3 plants over to flower and they all show signs of regular plants ready to start flowering. So I am totally confused too. Yeah, my clones have light 24hrs.

Is it like bf80 suggests? Clones taken from a plant in flower? I always clone before flipping so didnt even think of that possibility.

Ok that might make more sense to me. This is my 1st round and they may have started without me really knowing that was what was going on. I took the clone 30 days into veg. Although I did take all 5 clones at the same time and the others don't look that way. even the other clone I took of the same plant didn't/hasn't done this.

I had cloned before flipping. but it was like 30-35 days in veg and ready to flip. Again this is all new to me so please forgive/inform me if I say something silly. :)

Can crossing two strains dna have caused this? Meaning when i was cloning and used the same blade to clone have done something to the clone? I know it sounds silly but can those types of things happen with plants?

BDOG, what do you think I should do with this clone?
Should I just let it grow roots and see what happens and do the normal cycle?
Or should I put it in a pot and place it in my flowering room?

Tough call, I don't know why it would flower under the conditions you described and you say the other clones you have did not do this. I'm just thinking that perhaps it was some kind of stress that caused that but don't know if a plant would disregard photoperiods because of stress. Your clone does have some indicators of stress so maybe that's a possibility? Like I said, you have me stumped.

I wouldn't flower it like that, just let it root and see if it reverts to veg for you.

every now and then you run across a plant that is so stressed it " terminates " and just finishes its life cycle
it may reveg but if it actually is terminating from stress the plant will complete its life cycle regardless of what you do

Nice i did that with a tangerine haze on harvest day.. it was last one to strip and cut and decided to throw it in cloner with the lil top on it.. needless to say few months later she's got 4x the amount of flower sites then the mother did. LOL grow on man

Alright, I'll see what happens with it. Someone said it might be root rot causing it.
I checked it out today it has some more roots that are starting to pop out, that look normal. So ill keep it in the dome and see what happens.

Thank you all.
