3 POUND GOAL (48 OZ) OR GREATER - 4 PLANTS ONE, 1000 WATT HPS SCROG

Ok.. so why does it look like there are crystals or something on your plants? I see this in a lot of the photos on here.. what are you dusting your plants with before you take a photo?
lol thanks ill take that as a compliment :-) no ive never dusted my plants with anything (other than some great white in the root zone) thats what i was talking about, i have never seen this strain kick into trichrome production mode so early on, last weekends nute blend will definitely be repeated!

Would you care to share what your "ancient Chinese secret" is??? I mean...for those of us that are not ancient...well.. in grow time Im a baby! :O
lol i dont have an "ancient Chinese secret" just family knowledge gathered over the years. i started my first grow at 16 with my bro and the two of us would always try different techniques as the other one so we, in theory, would get twice the experience by helping one another with their garden. im 27 now and think thats prob as close to a "secret" as ive got, have a partner to make mistakes with and share the successes

a strange thing is happening in the grow room today, some of the plants are showing what looks to be slight nitrogen toxicity while the rest of the plant looks fine. women r so confusing lol. i think ill try to skip a nute application today and run about 25 gallons through at 6.2 with 3ml/gal cal-mag and maybe a little bit of PK but no nitrogen, keeping ppm under 400. then ill resume my normal feeding routine Thursday or friday

Day 31 Update
just ran 25 gallons PH'd H2O plus some cal-mag. hopefully ill start to see the few curled leaves straighten out a bit, sorry my HPS was already on by the time i got in there with the camera

Those crystals are what makes you feel good when you smoke the flowers. They are trichomes and contain all the thc and other cannainoids

My rule is "No clothing in the grow room." Its a pretty fun rule. But.. thats another story... So what is happening is weird. I lean over the plants and work on the ones in the back. Normally this isnt a problem. But something is happening to the girls. They are getting sticky. I lean over them to work on the ones in the back, and I lean back and I have plants sticking to me!

I thought the plant only got sticky when it had buds on it. Maybe its in the process of making buds? Not sure what is going on. Its been in 12/12 lights for three days now.

@ttystick lol.. woodstock.. Janice Joplin.. never forget her..... I was ten. And I was there with my cousins who were supposed to be on a road trip to drive back to Calif from NY... we went too wood stock.. the first one. My cousin got her car taken away from her for the rest of the year... lol... but I will never forget woodstock..

Lol, that is actually a fantastic rule! It sounds like your plants are already producing trichomes and other sticky plant materials, which is a good thing. It is definitely in the process of bud making now that it's on a 12hr schedule. Some plants produce trichs even in vegative stage and it sounds like yours has by the way they are sticking to you. And like the saying goes, buds always stick together :)

Awesome story and memory BTW about Woodstock! I wish I grew up in the 60s, sometimes I even wish I grew up in the 1800s and the wild west Era, lol. I'm wierd I guess. :)

Looking nice, hope you figure out the nute problem, but everything looks great, and it seems you have a natural green thumb so they will turn out fine. Keep on keeping onnn
thanks yea i think that flush helped out, a little early to tell but seems like its going in the right direction. only thing i can figure is maybe my solution settled out some and i may have gotten a hot spot in the nutes. either that or i scared her walking around naked in the grow room, she just had to curl up so she didnt have to bare the sight of my ass anymore :-)

ok i feel like such a pothead today, bored so i guess ill do some gardening and take some juicy pics. ive been sitting here for an hour now listening to stephen marley and smoking on the bubbalicious with my favorite bong bongsmilie

yes im enjoying my time off today 8-)

hey i have really been wanting to ask all of you guys watching this about your PK supplements. when do u supplement with PK, how much, how often and what product(s) do u use?
i know some people swear up and down that PK supplements don't help, well i am not interested in hearing from those people, only people that actually use it with good results. i know that they r not necessary; however, i do know, as a matter of fact that they do work when used properly. as i have stated before i am currently using Snowstorm Ultra, Crystal Burst, recently added Floralicious Plus and Bloombastic. occasionally with the right strain i use Purple Max a couple times. i have not done any direct side by side vs a control with the Floralicious or Bloombastic yet like i have with the other supplements; however they do seem to have made a fairly good bit of difference when compared to the crops i ran with just the Humboldt line up PK supplements. i never follow the directions on this stuff tho, it calls for like 5ml a gallon on most of this stuff but when i use it i go 2-3ml a gal at most. i only use two of them at a time then on my next feeding i use whatever i did not use the last time and so on... besides Crystal Burst, i will use it in almost every feeding. i never let my PPM go above 800 775 PPM is what i shoot for. one of the most important things i do IMHO is that whenever i water, i water with at least 20 gal, i have about 27 gallons of soil, so well over half the volume of the soil. i add a couple ML a gallon of Cal-Mag and adjust it to 6.2. also when i fertilize i will mix 15 gallons of nutes, so about half of the soil volume. see the pattern here? the pots r getting flushed somewhat every time they are either watered or fertilized. for us who grow cannabis (we fertilized more than is required for most plants) so it is absolutely essential IMO to flush constantly so as to never expose your delicate roots to the fertilizer salts. i stop using grow in the mix about 2 weeks before i flip to 12/12 then from then on its strictly Micro and Bloom along with the PK supplements along with hummic acid early on, and Sweet for carbo load (i usually throw in 50ml per 15 gal) it calls for like 15 ML a gallon or something crazy like that which is dumb and waaay not necessary. my schedule is every other day i either water of feed. i do water, feed, water, feed, water, feed every other day. there, i think thats about it to my feeding schedules i dont think i forgot anything.

what do u guys do concerning fertilizer? especially PK? as well as your PH?

Day 32

Heres that POG i got flowering, she is extremely dense and fat but i wish it had not stretched as much as it did but i wont let it happen next time

I'm using koolbloom liquid at the moment, I'm in a ebb and grow system. It's the first time I've used general hydroponics nutes before though so I don't have anysolid aadvice for using it but I also have started using floralicious plus @ 1ml a gal and I can tell you that the floralicious plus has made a great noticeable difference. In the past I've used awesome blossoms by technflora and it worked great
