Hi there rollituppers!! I didnt know wether to post this in the auto flower section or the breeders paradise but since ive already got a thread going over their i figured i would give this one to the auto community.
Okay so I am a breeder and RIU is my home so ive decided to post my work thus far on a cross ive been working that ive dubbed "Pinkie Pie"
work on Pinkie started in spring of last year when i purchased seed from genetics gone madd of Madd Krush and Redd cross, i made 2 crosses utilizing a single Redd cross and a single madd krush as my p1 mothers ( i later dropped the red cross as i found it to be far less vigorous and an overall inferior cross) and 3 robust males from my own line of autos that i had dubbed S.A.P (a and p stand for auto purps) it was an ak47auto x a random purple auto i had it for 2 gens since that cross.
i then worked the cross out to the f3 and have recently harvested seed for my f4 which ill be popping in a week or so.

some pics of my madd krush beans, a sesh about to take place, some trim in the shape of RIU. some little 100% outdoor autos OOOOOHHHH!!! lol

heres the madd krush just vegging, a very vigorous sativa with really really strong branching and some of the best bud ive ever smoked very happy and uplifting sativa had me on cloud 9 with just 2 bowls and i have a very high tolerance, it also had some very nice thick buds for a sativa dominant and it just reeked of old skool thats how i describe the odor it just makes me think of the smells i recognize from childhood smelling weed people would break up i always enjoyed the smell even before i ever considered putting a joint to my lips and this one really takes me back.

so with this cross i was trying to add some potency from the 14 week pure sativa into an autoflower strain, while simultaneously bringing up the bag appeal and overall vigor, something my line of autos lacked it was much better suited to indoor however there is a huge potential for autoflowers outdoors (and i want something very forgiving for the newer grower so i treat all my strains very rough even at early stages to weed out weaklings) and IMO a great way to up peoples overall outdoor harvests. I know its a huge order to fill but I feel i have all the tools (genetically speaking) and enough knowlege to pull it off :D I also thought the pink pistils were a really novel trait and i love purple and pink buds so those were added in just to make the project funner for growers.
at the bottom are 3 redcross "testers " while the rest dried

what type of cross did you make?

3 males i pulled and i showed the roots in case anyone cares this is how they all looked 45 degree bend then taproot turns to little roots.
here the girls are after weakies and boys were culled out and transplanted into gallon pots with, you guessed it, more 707! and put under a 600w HPS
