Outdoor auto problems any suggestions.

So I've planted 9 auto flowers outdoor here in alberta. There are only five left. They have had nothing but struggles since popping out of soil. Something's eating dem. I neemed dem two weeks ago but it seemed to have no affect. I'm thinking caterpillar but the plants are tiny and I'd think I'd see a caterpillar. So with what's left I thought I'd transplant them an move them to the house out from de bush. I've heard autos don't like transplant.
Does anyone have any ideas an suggestions? Is transplanting dem even worse?

I love free burgers ...so does bugs, they feel or just know when a plant is weak enough to know they got free food about, fix the issue then fix the bugs is the best way, right now its looking a little nute burnt, but we both just know the solstice has passed and even these autos want some more light, if you do relocate them inside ensure you have enough light for them, to my blog on auto hints ...https://www.rollitup.org/Journal/Entry/10-top-tips-for-a-better-autoflowering-yield.29023/

re pot them to a 3 gallon pot flush well allow to recover overnight for the sun in the morning or indoor lights

Thank you.
I've potted the plants. They were never in one. My other plants are doing fine in the ground. Thought they'd be fine too.
I've relocated them but they'll still receive the suns light, an a lot of it. To the house on the farm but not in the house.
They were right by a swamp for watering purposes. Too much nutes? I've never gave them any seeing as I never had to give my other plants any. They get what they need from the ground and rain. Three years in a row.
First time auto outdoors.
My mistake was treating them like the others.
These were special girls.
Thank you again.
I was worried transplanting them may be too much.
Still may prove to be. After all I could not see their roots just had to try an dig hopefully far enough around and down.
