Thanks a lot..There are many different reasons why your plant may not be growing out there.
1.Soil is too acidic or too alkaline ( areas rich in pine debris tend to be more acidic, for example)
2.Soil is too rocky or has a significant rocky layer just under your plot (where the roots grow, then stop or spend a lot of energy trying to find a way around)
3. Soil is too nutrient rich, not rich enough or just not in the right proportions
4. Exudates from trees or plants nearby may be interfering with your cannabis growth - Black walnuts, for example, are known for this.
5. Soil does not drain properly (high clay content, highly compact, etc)
I could go on a bit but you get why it is easier to just dig up your plot, ammend it and then leave it until tea time or set your pots above ground. What I've done this year is veg my plants in 3 gallon fabric pots. When I put them outside I dig a plot, ammend it, cut the bottoms off my pots and place 1/4 of the way into the hole then fill in around it. This will also keep my girls "off the ground" for the cooler parts of autumn which might buy me another week or two before harvest. Good luck
It's 5 for sure, maybe 1, and 2 is the result of 5.. clay.
But it's strange, cause 1 plant is growing fine, and the other just stopped, both with the same past, only difference is the one that stopped fell down when it was like 3-4 weeks old, for 1-2 days til I fixed it.
Next time - better soil, and a skewer for keeping straight
