Do all plants grow red hairs on the buds?

yes those are just the sign shes a female. those are the older ones and the white ones are the newer growth
 
So even like some bullshit weed will grow white hairs in it's early stage and red hairs when it's older? So does this mean when I get a bag and the weed has no red hairs on it(just lime-green bud) the grower picked it too early?

Pretty much. The grower probably wanted to sell it fast and didn't wait for the plant to mature a little longer.

i wouldn't say so, the hair on the buds have their highest potency in terms of THC if the tricomes are milky, if they start to turn reddish brown the THC is stating to decompose. buds form white widow for example look like the been totally iced, more white then green:)

there are also strains that will grow a reddish/purple bud such as durban poison or red skunk:mrgreen:

i would rather say if you get real brownish lookin buds (green with brown tricomes on) the grow didn't harvested in time and let them on a bit long. that because my tricomes get just a bit yellowish after air curing them, so i would rather say that this is late harvest buds really:)
 
Not every strain has the pistils go red before you harvest there is a plant out there that i can think of that the pistil dont change colour at all, but i doubt you will be growing that one
 
So appr. how long will it take for the white hairs to start turning red? Also, how potent would it be if you harvested while it's still white?
 
NO, as NGT said not all get red hairs. This is not even a good way to tell when to harvest either.

I just harvested my bigger girl, blue mystic. we were exactly 8 weeks, . The pistils were pretty much a light light orange color, and some lower ones were still white. did we harvest at the right time? what is the best way to tell if you are ready to harvest?
 
This isn't true maaan..... red hairs are different on differrent strains.. some have more hairs than ever..... just cuz the bud is lime green with few red hairs, or no red hairs does NOT mean it was picked early... cuz even if it was and there WERE hairs they'd turn red... it's strain dependant.
 
Yes they grow purple... reds, browns, oranges and white..

All I've ever seen my whole life is reds browns oranges and whites..... Only purples I've ever seen was in pictures.

I WISHED, I had some purples! Yummy! I heard that these are the ones that taste the most like grape.

PS: Ohh and PINKS!!!! I've seen some pinks but only in pictures.

Trichomes colour r the best way to tell 90% cloudy 3 to 4% amber
 
All pistills start out white..as the flowers start maturing and the pistils start turning diffrent colours ..red..brown ..amber ...they go like that when the pistil or hair don't get pollenated ..after all that's the plant main focus ..making seed..

one time some on drop a bit of weight on me. And its the best weed i have ever seen and or smoked
it had vary vibrant pink hairs
and the bud were so fat and easy to sell the resin was like syrup. Only experience. With pink hairs was amazing and I wish I knew the strain
