I've also done a few sog grows with solo cups.....it is a bitch to water everyday ,which is also why I won't do it again either.....My last grow was 60 cups with an avg of 8g per cup,I harvested over 10 oz......heres a quick pic of just before harvest,I had already cut a few down but they're was 20 cups in each tray....GOOD LUCK mdw405,it's not easy!!View attachment 3194445

There cool as lookin but there tiny as u said 7 grams per plant this guys new to growin and experienced growers have probs with solo cups my last grow I yielded 12oz from 4 plants with a scrog

and i want to transplant 1 of the plants into 15cm pot will that work

Man spend a bita money go on ebay or amazon buy a decent setup for a area that big maybe a big cfl or led panel dont go under 200w for led and dont gk under a 150w hps/mh setup id throw ur seed u got in the bin and buy some seeds off a decent seed bank get some femm seeds
15cm pots r fine my last grow I used 15 cm pots 4 plants in a scrog grow (screen of green)
Repot when ur plants r about 5 to 6 cm tall just cut off bottom of cup and dig whole and plant into bigger pot
If u have unknow seeds u need plant at least 4 otherwise u could end up with all boys unless u buy femm seeds
Remember to get perlite it very important so roots get lota air

No disrespect but have you grown in a solo cup? I just finished an experiment sea of green with solo cups. Over 150 solo cups side by side with 50 6x6 pots. Some of the solo cups yielded more than the 6x6x8 pots. Would I do it again? No. Simply because its a bitch to water and PM hit which even harder to treat with all those plants. I averaged about 7 grams a solo cup. Which is pretty good considering how packed in they where. I used 3 1k lights in a 10x10 room the whole room wasn't used (I Also had some larger plants in 5 gallon buckets under one of the lights.) To say its stupid is a little rough. I will admit its defiantly not ideal. Who knows maybe the solo cup grow will peak his interest into moving on to bigger and better things.

I had made a mistake.....in my first post that I have corrected.
I may have misled saying 60 cups,I started with 60,actually it was 72 to be exact and ended up with 36 females that fit 12 per tray perfectly....avg. 8g per cup,some more ,some less.I had posted the grow in..del6666's 12/12 from seed thread

No offense taken. I actually agree with you yielding 2 oz per plant would probably be nicer for him but I assumed he had some space limitations or not enough lighting. I'm not really a solo cup grower just interested in different ways.

If your going to veg you should transplant into a larger pot. What is your end goal? If we knew that maybe we could help better.

Veg and lst till u fill your area lst is low stress training just keep tieing them down sprear the plants as much as possible then when u flower u will yield more

alright i have 4 plants in the closet and planted with fan have the lights on 16/8 still no baby flower and been 5 days

also my end goal isnt about getting the biggest yeild its about my ffirst grow trying to learn the game and become better at growing

if you want to learn growing. buy a autoflower female seed. anyone you like. i started with short riders from nirvana seeds. its a smaller indica auto. you will learn how to grow something you can smoke. it will be a female an wont require lighting scheules. not the best smoke but its a place to start. learn the basics. dont be in a rush, you will waste time an money. pick good soil, dont use yard soil. buy a small bag of good dirt. check the forums for what dirt is best. i grow hyro. i like dwcs grows fast and doesnt require daily watering.

Lol..everyone asks that!.....Idk,they just grow like that,Maybe cuz all the seeds were from the same buds...or just the fact that it's a 12/12 from seed grow and flowering usually starts in about 4wks from germ so with not much root space,side branching doesn't develop as well..or at allpeace
