Ventilation question

I've got my new cab built. Its got a 4x4x8 grow section, a 2.5x4x56" mother section, a clone section, and a utility section.

This resides in my 10x16 shop. I have a portable ac rated for a 200 sq ft room. It is also insulated.

My 6" can fan draws from under the shop (through a home ac filter...not HEPA) and goes through the hoods. This is isolated from the shop air.

My question is, how should I vent the shop? I need fresh air but I also want to keep the cool air inside from the ac. I know the ac exchanges the air, but what about just the fan or just the dehumidifyer? It doesn't get too hot here in the Northwest so I'm not fighting blistering temperatures.

Thanks for the feedback.

The normal fresh air exchange of your building is likely adequate for your small grow.

No building is completely sealed.

Control odor, eventually the stinky building is detectable from outside.

And thanks for the advice on odors. I do have a dedicated 4" can fan and filter and a 6" can fan for the two hoods (1000w for grow and 400w for mothers).

I was hoping the 4" fan/filter would have enough pull to draw air in through a vent and filter in my clone section, which feeds the mothers, which then goes to my grow section, and then vents back into the air conditioned shed but it doesn't appear to be pulling enough air to circulate adequately.

I'm still sealing the doors but I'm not sure that's going to make a drastic enough difference. I'm considering moving the 4" fan/filter outside the cabinet just for extra precaution, and then adding a 6" fan/filter combo.

I'll post some pics later and maybe I can get some feedback on how to accomplish what I am attempting. I'm trying to build an ultra-stealthy grow (even though I have my card) so I'm taking whatever precautions I can.

not with a 1000w .....maybe the 400w the 4 inch 170 cfm fan would work

i have a 6 in 400cfm fan my intake to exhust temp diff is 10 degrees (mine is a carbon filter hung at the top directly over the hood....total of 4 90 degree bends and 1 incline 30 to 60 degree angle )

oder controll u have several choices
carbon filters
ona buckets
and in duct ozone gens

carbon filters are simple match the cfm of the filter to the cfm of the fan for a good even drawl over the carbon .........replace the outside filter wrap on the carbon filter about once every 90 days (it is a dust collect remplacing makes it last little longer and work better)........u will get 12 months use out of it some get 15 then the filter /the active carbon needs to be replaced

ona buckets...........just bucket of gel chemicals that attach to the smells in the air and kills it (unsure about lenght of time they work but it is a high tech frebreeze for weed)

Ozone ..............they sell ones u can put in ducting(got to be 8 or 10 inch ducting) that will kill any smell that it comes in contact with ............they also sell ones for the home and shops to kill smells ............ebay "Zen living" for the home (i have ppl over some times and i run something bigger then u have with that thing running they can not smell shit plus it cleans the air of allergies and virus and smoke so bonus)
