haha thanks ruby, I needed that. Plenty of sunshine in my neck of the woods. actually could use some rain. my barrel is getting pretty low. I think im going to have to use the hose for the next feeding.

I actually kept a runt from the batch in the woods at home and just pinched the top, maybe ill get a shot when it grows out the new tops. Its actually looking pretty sturdy just a slow starter. Im also thinking about abandoning one of the jungle plants. I brought out an extra bottomless pot and just dug a very small hole and filled with a little soil. I doubt it would be worth taking care of, I will most likely just ignore it, feed the rest and see what that one does on its own. I only carry 5gal a trip so I gotta make them count.

I see the same success rate as the papertowel way, it just takes a little longer for them to pop out of the dirt. I even tossed a few on the top of my garden bed and about a week later after the others they started popping up. Its amazing how much trouble some people have getting them started. I tossed those to die on the surface and ignored them and they still sprouted.... Next year I'm going to have those fancy seeds so it might be back to the careful way.

I use an Aerogarden to germ my seeds- this year I got 6 out of 10 to pop (low percentage compared to past years); so I took 3 bag seeds and put them in a small pot filled with container soil- all 3 popped within 3 days. Next year I might just skip the Aerogarden all together and germ my seeds the old fashioned way...

Nice grow Bud, will keep an eye on your progress this year

Yea I started doing it this way when I left my papertowel out and it dried out on me when I was at work. Takes a little longer but works just as well.

And thanks marco, I am a little behind last year, but I have high expectations.

Well July is here, june was a bit cooler and drier than last year (for me), And its been a lot easier managing one area rather than 4. I looked and last year I would only feed every 10-14 days, this year is going to be 7-10. make sure there is plenty of nutes and water for these gals. Speaking of gals, usually I work with "feminized" seeds that were made by hermies from a pal. This year its mostly regulars. so we'll see if there are any males to cull.

And for all of you squirrel and chipmunk haters, My little hand pellet gun shit the bed (maybe 500 fps and .177) and I am getting a nice .22 breakbarrel supposedly 1000 fps +...gotta keep them away from my tomatoes.

Hehehe, new pellet guns are always fun. They totally remind me of the good old days.

nice jam sesh.

I got the rifle in, sweet scope. 850 fps but my pistol was only 410 so it is doubling. Shit I remember back when I was young my nana had squirrels in her attic. so she went the economical way and had her grandsons come over with bb guns. haha we had a blast. And really didn't see any squirrels after a few days. hopefully that's what happens here.

Hurricane Arthur rolled bye, what a fucking manly name. Just the name smells like B.O...Not much wind but the rain was intense. definatly got plenty water. Girls at home did alright so im sure the woods batch is doing ok. gonna give them a couple days to dry then go out for some snacks. maxsea is going quick. might have to use some grobig before I go to full bloom nutes.
