Evening all.
Sorry i havent been on the thread much all week.
I cut a few buds off one plant.
Im leaving the other 3 for a week.
Im not sure if i cut them too early. I tried to see 70% of brown hairs but couldnt make up my mind. I got a 30x loupe and the trics seem like they are mostly cloudy with a few clear.
Im feeling a little low looking at the size of them to be honest (but also feeling happy coz i grew my own herb )
This is week 9 of 12/12.
If i didnt have the N issue i think i could of gotten them larger.
Any info from ye is happily taken.
Can you tell me if i cut too soon ?

Id love to go to the Dam. With those prices its about time i got my ass in gear

Looks good to me man if uve never been the dam u have to go but if ur going for purely weed then barcelona is honestly better... better chilled spots , better selection and stronger and lets not forget the sun

I don't use much concentrates and when I do like I said I take a tooth pic and and put a dab on the end and put smear in with a bowl of ground buds and it does blow me away almost to strong. I don't know how all these people are doing "dabs" of wax and shatter/amber now with such high percentages of THC. My buddy in seattle said he took one dab hit and he had to go home he was so high and he smokes daily.

I have only had strawberry cough in flower/bud form never concentrated. My same buddy in seattle use to grow it all the time and at one point had over 2 pounds of it but he sold a lot of it to dispensaries.

I would be afraid to smoke that strawberry cough wax I don't like to get that high unless its an edible because it comes on slow but with shit like that its like getting punched in the face and kicked in the balls at the same time instantly. Some vaporizers you can use concentrates in.

Yeah having your own grow is great its something to be proud of. It all looks good to me man. If you went 9 weeks 12/12 that should have been just about right. The second pic looks really nice. Yield depends on the pheno, lights, nutes, problems etc. I would be happy with your yield its not bad at all for a home grow!!!


Is it your first grow? if so bravo man and what strain is it? or is it bag seed?

Ive only ever grown euphoria from DP and a few failed strains in between. But im looking forward to experimenting with new strain soon thanks to yer advice
In this grow i had to cut down to a 400wt and small tent and had a bit of hassle with lack of Nitrogen a few weeks back.

Do you think i should cut the other three or will they put on more weight in a week if i leave them.
Alot of the colas have the top 2 to 3 inches of bud thats looks mature.
But another 2 inches under has small buds that are still growing.

If a bud is tested at 25% THC and then gets concentrated into BHO, wax, hash oil or any concentrate then the potency does go up because you get all the glands off the plant matter. BHO freezes the glands which lets them separate and go through the filter that is why you can even get up to 85% ( the highest I have seen) but you will never see a flower get those kind of percentages of THC. It is the entire reason for making concentrates thus the meaning of the word concentrate, you get a bigger bang with a small amount.

Look on this site, you can choose flowers, concentrates or all to see what strain tested at and what dispensary it came from.

look man its the same thing as drinking 60% vodka mixed with lemonade..its still 60%..now take out the lemonade..and your still only drinking 60% vodka but in a purer form witch is a lot stronger than the 1 with lemonade..its the same in weed remove the trichomes from the plant matter and you have stronger smoke...its easy to get the % of your weed ...dry the buds from 1 plant ..weigh them..remove trichomes and weight again ..the diffrence in weight is your percentage...i had this coversation with a lot of pro growers and 1 said if a strain is 25% that's means ..for example if you get a qp of bud from 1 plant for it to be 25% thc there should be an ounce of thrichomes come from it...now that dont happen ..

hey raes..nice buds .i would give the others 2 weeks and you.l have nice flowers..if there like the 1 you cut they will swell more.you want about 90% brown pistils and they should be withered into the buds..good job man ..happy growing .

Yeah another week wouldn't hurt at all. Cloudy trich's create a more up high were as amber create a more body high.

Like I said I'm not going to argue but its a fact if you take a 20% thc buds and make wax, shatter/amber or clear oil you are going to get between 60% and 85%

Just go by the trichs not the hairs. Mostly cloudy is when i cut my indica sativa mixes. not too much couch lock. you can also cut the tops and leave the lower buds for another week or so.

Just go by the trichs not the hairs. Mostly cloudy is when i cut my indica sativa mixes. not too much couch lock. you can also cut the tops and leave the lower buds for another week or so.

So its wise to cut the tops, lower the light and leave lower buds for another week.
