neighbors wanting to cause problems for grower

Hello out there i'm looking for some advice
Well here it goes my neighbor 3 doors down is growing and it's very
obvious its a big grow, It smell like a skunk or skunk # 3 lol in the evenings.
I enjoy the smell of weed myself,I have a small grow outback and 2 of my neighbors know.
Over the weekend my wife and myself went to a neighborhood potluck
bad idea all they were talking about is these people how there growing a lot of weed
and how they want to get the police involved and how the're worried about
explosions due to them making butane oil, at this point i wanted to personally
smack the $#@# out of everyone at this potluck and tell them to stop watching news before bed.
Any guidance to reaching out to this grower would be great i don't know the guy
Iv'e said hi once or twice seem like nice people that just want to be left alone.

I had the same problem as you 2 or 3 yrs back , we own rental homes & routinely rent to small growers plus ive grown for decades so i know what im smelling & can tell whem somebody is blowin it up large scale , on one street there are 7 homes total & we own 4 of the houses but not the house in question , i thought about warning him in person but quickly realized if he got popped by the law or jacked he'd blame me or my tennants so i shot him an letter signed ( Fellow grower who dont want investigated because of another growers excessive odor ) .

Within a few weeks the dude tightened up his game & controlled the odor , i wouldnt confront him face to face , lotsa fruity assholes out there playing weed baron & acting like LiL scarface & ready to do henious shit over weed , send him a letter & be sure to tell him he's a stupid fuk for running a butane extract in view of neighbors , you cant blame neighbors for being worried or upset over his butane use , home is where people go to raise kids & live safely , remember not everybody understands what a butane extraction involves , all they see are glass beakers filled with explosive shit cookin over open flame like a meth lab .

Multiple carbon filters and no one smells skunk hahaha. I've had my wife's parents over and they're super religious and they've never smelled anything in the house. I don't smoke at my house or have dried bud lying around. Invest in fresh saver or gallon jars. Never shit where you eat. On a federal level we are all criminals.
