Anybody ever try these?
True, but meth does not block well at allWhat do you want to know? Dilaudid is an opiate pain killer, and methadone is an opiate receptor blocker..... One will counteract the other....
They are both full antognist opiates, methadone is not an opiate blocker-it has such a strong affinity for opiate receptors that at high doses it will block the action of other opiates. What do you want to know? i wouldn't say they're extremely dangerous drugs to take.. not everyone has an addictive personality, and can do a drug once or twice, and put it down for months and months, or even years.. then pick up that same drug, and use it once or twice again, and never even become any where hear being addicted to the drug.. not me of course, but there are people in this world who aren't prone to addiction..They are both full antognist opiates, methadone is not an opiate blocker-it has such a strong affinity for opiate receptors that at high doses it will block the action of other opiates.
OH AND THEY ARE BOTH TWO OF THE STRONGEST OPIATES YOU CAN TAKE, SO IF YOU DON'T HAVE A TOLERANCE/OR ADDICTION ALREADY ITS VERY DANGEROUS TO TAKE THEM!!!!!!
lol, i would have thought that the fact that i said earlier i'm on methadone would be a sign that i've had my issues with hard drugs in the past, ending with a few year battle with heroin, 13 years ago this past may 13th..Opiates don't discriminate between addictive personalities and people who have always been able to control themselves. Everyday I work with people with ZERO history of drug abuse who got prescribed it by a doctor and couldn't stop. Some of these people never touched a drug until they were over 50 years old, and some don't even drink, but the lure of opiates is a strong one. Are you willing to risk becoming addicted? If not, even the most controlled person should stay away for rec use.
I'm not saying people can't, I just want to scare this kid! I'm still on suboxone all these years later and still a slave to opiates. I have to take suboxone everyday(basically methadone, but a partial antagonist) and if I don't I'll get sick. You just never know how someone is gonna react, someone with no history of addiction can do it once and be off to the races-I say it's better to stay awaylol, i would have thought that the fact that i said earlier i'm on methadone would be a sign that i've had my issues with hard drugs in the past, ending with a few year battle with heroin, 13 years ago this past may 13th..
saying that though, yes, there are still plenty of people who can take drugs for a certain period of time, and put them down, and never touch them again. my mom for intance, got her hip replaced last year.. they sent her home with a huge ass bottle of percs, and she would only take one if she was in extreme pain, which for her meant, maybe once or twice that first week or so.. she still have probably over 3/4's of the bottle left even now, over a year later.. tons of other people i know can also do this.. a few on this site even.. i won't name names as it's not really my place, but some of them hang out in this section often.
AND that's awesome, congratz man! I work in a rehab and I'll be 5 years on the 4th of july : )lol, i would have thought that the fact that i said earlier i'm on methadone would be a sign that i've had my issues with hard drugs in the past, ending with a few year battle with heroin, 13 years ago this past may 13th..

nice, i'm down to 15 mg's from a high of 50, slowly trying to get off.. no rush though, i just wanna make sure i do it right so i don't mess up... i don't have it in me to really go through another run and try and get clean again, that shit takes way too much effort... i think i'll just stick with staying clean, much easier that way, lol..AND that's awesome, congratz man! yeah, but idk, i think you can od from a drug and never get high off it.. two very different things imo.. idk though, i never messed with meth before i was using, so my pov might be a bit skewed to say the least..And you know the methadone or suboxone doesn't get US high, but for someone with no tolerance/experience they are pretty dangerous from an OD standpoint. I've seen a girl od from 20mg of methadone, that's two of the 10mg pills docs give out to pain patients-if I was dope sick that wouldn't even make me feel better, lol. The girl came into group, obviously dipping out and I removed her from the group and while she was sitting my chair she fell out. She was only clean for month, but her tolerance had dropped and she almost died from 20mg! I couldn't believe it.
