It's just snobbery. If everyone could buy it, it would just be any other strain. Keeps it elite. But it hardly some next level genetics. If it was so much better than other strains to command the price it is, then people would just buy a pack, clone it, and everyone would grow it. But for some reason people time and again opt for other genetics, and are absolutely satisfied, and paid pennies comparatively.
agree mostly ttt, but a lot of people hoard cuts so they can say only they hold it. i'm in 4th week with his ecsd, they look just like the real cut with slight differences between the 2 s1 phenos. a friend here has 1 but i think he needs the other 1, it seems to be bulking up more. smoke test will tell.

i've known a few people who have grown it out, and one guy i highly rate, said it's better than any of the clone only cuts he's grown out of ecsd, so yeah, i'm pretty stoked to say the least.. pix soon..

I'm getting some nice dark green/purple on the very edges of the leaves, giving the buds a slight purple tint. Also, my one pheno has a very potent sweet bubblegumish lemon smell like nothing else i've ever had. Super frosty and mine is producing almost baseball sized kush style nugs at the very tops. Looks like it's going to yeild better then expected too. I'm also growing his headband and the two phenos are very different-one is definitely heavy on the ecsd side and the other reaks of sour lemons.

Nice pitch but I have had a lot of orders from Europe and never have I had one snagged but I think I'll save my money and buy OG etc. from more reputable companies then the Doc. Hell Chimera is fucking with clone-only lines know and they are not fems and $50 for 10 seeds I think it was at Hempdepot comes from Canada too but much better price.

People can find good genetics for decent prices . But when your asking for overall consistent breeding of elite cuts and crosses I don't find it hard to fork out extra $ for hard work . You get what you pay for IMO . I've never grow DRGT personally , but from what I comprehend , he has nothing but fire . Consistent grows from people with his gear of nothing but fire . Your always going to have an occasional hiccup of seeds not germinating that's just the expensive "chance" we take . But I will be ordering his gear soon . And I'm excited .

And I hear the same about Gage and Bodhi who competitively price their product. I see no reason to take a risk on his gear. There are a lot of breeders who put out nothing but fire if your expectations are low, that's where it gets me "fire" is subjective as fuck. Reading a lot of the grow journals that read like advertising turns me off his product.

I'd pay for DJ shorts or Sensi (which I just did) as well as other good breeders. Difference is you get a pack for the price of one selfed bean. In fact next time Blue Moonshine hits one of my banks, I'll be grabbing them to give him a go.

I'd buy a few greenthumb beans long before a pack of sensi or dj short. Sensi has a terrible track record for having non viable beans and lost a lot of their original parentage. The chances of you getting something good from greenthumb is a lot greater. Neither sensi or short have strains that can touch ghost og or ecsd. And how is a pack of sensi equal to one single seed in price? Are you referring to the g13? Because that's only one strain, the rest aren't priced like that. They average about 30 a seed. I've seen his og and ecsd on sale for $100 for 5 beans. That's pretty close what soma , dna, and cali connection cost for their fems. But considering the choices out there now, I personally wouldn't order from neither one. Archive, karma, bodhi, and a bunch of others all have dank for less money. Get some really good ladies, and a few males and say goodbye to ordering beans.

I love my bodhi collection, I have over 7 packs of Bodhi gear, which is by far my favorite breeder to date. Also on the sensi note, I bought Maple Leaf India and I will concur on germ rates. I haven't had these problems as I've had with Bodhi. But I want to try more indicated Dom plants and more IBL. Nonetheless S1 really don't do it for me, particularly at those prices.

S1s don't do what for you? And why are you in a greenthumb thread if you have no interest? To rag on the price? Do you make remarks about dna/rp selling s1s for over $18 a seed in dna threads? Not being a dick, but I see someone just throwing their 2 cents in just for the sake of having something to talk shit about. Like I said, gt's stuff is on sale often for $100/5 beans. That is $20 each. Yes, some are s1's. Reserva has OG s1s for roughly the same price. Cali connection even more. If your whole premise for commenting in this thread was price point, I just gave you a couple more breeders that charge the same.
