Soil problems (I guess). Is it too late to put in pots and get a good yield?

I'm running Mandala's Fruitylicious and theystarted out a little slow but seemed to take off after week 3-4. I got a late start and could only veg indoors for a few weeks this season but they're doing good now. I started out with 12.. one got stomped into its hole by a deer and something munched on and killed another. One is kind of stunted but the other 9 are 1 1/2' - 2' tall and I'm around week 6 or so.
So, you don't plan on using any nutes at all?

No nutes man. I just put in my own compost, moved the earth and planted. It's mostly the mandalas I'm worried about, they usually explode in growth after 2-3 weeks and right now I can't see them doing that. I'm kinda fascinated by the whole thing. What's gonna happen? Are they going to amaze the shit out of me in the next few weeks?

Cool stuff going on.

I hope so.. Mine had me worried for a little while. I guerilla grow so I can't visit too often and I came back to one of my plots after about a week and was amazed by how much they'd grown. How much sunlight are you getting per day?

Just about 5 and a half hours of direct sunlight. We did have a LOT of rain where I am in June, but the last few days have been really sunny and normally they double in size from one day to the next when the sun's out. That's why I'm thinking it's a root problem. Maybe my earth is too tight, too clayish? The vegetable plants seem to like it though...

Anyway I'm going down with the ship hehehe :)

I think you'll be fine. I wouldn't worry. I'm pretty sure that reading one of your previous grow journals is why I chose to go with Mandala's this year. After looking through your "Mandala Summer" journal, I think the pics of the Hashberry are what did it.
