The scrog technique is just basically bending the leafs under the net so they spread out yeah? Is that to make light more available to other parts of the plant?

It utilizes your space so you can have average 1-4 plants with a blanket of top colas. So yes it spreads them out as well as helps hold them up an all your buds are around the same ripeness rather then havin a bunch of wispy under developed buds underneath (I have seen people leave most the undercarriage and it looks to be ok flowers even with minimal light but I like her focus to be on the top)

2 things i did i used an agressive feed cycle out doors this time with no flushing till 4 weeks be4 harvest also i tied each branch down to the ground that whats with that big yellow a frame cause if any1 taken it there taken that a frame and about 20 kilos of weights tied to it lol

i've seen people yield 1 lb from a 600, which i think is great! props to them!!! but yeah it took work. i have gotten 3 lbs from 2000w but i wasnt really working my ass off, i had a shit ton of light! so realisticly he can prolly get 2.25 if he worked his ass off. but if he just threw in a 400w, vertically, he'd prolly get 3 no problem, IF he could handle that heat. and that is why i suggested he get some mylar reflectors and just prop it up next to the plants, my buddy would build a trellis, outta pvc, he then would get some mylar and tape it to the top of the trellis, and tape another piece of pvc to the bottom of the mylar and kinda open and close it like a scroll. if u know what i mean. and then that mylar would just reflect all that light. works great!! if you do that, u'll prolly increase yield but he should definitely try the 1000w or upgrade as he goes on.

edit: my buddy has hit 4lb on 2000w. on blue dreams.

And on the whole yield/weight, keep in mind you want to grow about double or a little less than that, it will dry out

Iam doing my best not to be naive, the grow is already in place and the girls are doing great under 600hps (burning a hole in my pocket). But it's working.

2 pounds is ambitious but not impossible, if I don't get it I know I will understand it 2nd harvest a lot more.

Co2 bag I will use purely because refilling a tank where I live means driving 40 miles and it doesn't seem financially worth it.

This is my first grow, Iam excited, I want 1000000 grams!!! .. I will probably get 10 ounces.

My nutes are advanced nutrients jungle juice 3 part, super thrive, big bud, bud candy, cal mag, b52, connissure & overdrive.

My seeds will be here any moment. - alien og, orange bud, big bud, green crack & the church. Pulse I get 2x LSD FOR FREE.

I will log the progress but I guess trial and error is a huge factor, I don't wanna push these plants to produce more than they can, it's disrespectful to the plants and pretty much selfish to customers who require a certain quality.

I will keep following everyone's advice until I learn at a level I can consistently grow at a rate I require.
