Mr Kynes, saying "derp" repeatedly does not make you appear smarter than the "derpee". You can be as condescending as you want - that guy was wrong. I get the point. If you're simple enough to believe I'm simple then run with it. Enjoy it. Doesn't affect me at all.

Really? The wage they offered me after a year of State paid, computer school, I could not turn it down. And still, i never realized I could turn the start pay, in my early 30s, less than $20K + company car, into a fat 6 figure salary by just goofing around with some Company"s, High Tech gear.

a pol's campaign should be funded by the people who support him, not by taxes.
under the system you propose, every wingnut, moonbat, Troofer and looney anarcho-___________ist would be funded by the taxpayers instead of having to canvas for cash.
our elections would be as retarded as a parliamentary system in short order, with ballot lists 5 miles long, unless you put in some sort of barrier to entry for keeping out the batshit crazy asshats.
 
I think that Eric Cantor was the only non-Christian Republican in the House, Senate or Governor level. It's truly amazing just how mono-cultural that party is. It doesn't represent the real America at all, yet they call themselves the "real Americans."

There is truly a huge discrepancy between how they view the world and how it actually is.

Hey we're making headway. I completely agree with this ^ You'd have to re-work too many things to be able to "put in some sort of barrier to entry for keeping out the batshit crazy asshats" so it isn't a valid solution to anything. Thanks for enlightening someone as simple as me.

On the flip side, we've already got plenty of "batshit crazy asshats" in office right now (Rick Perry come to mind?). At least a normal person that can actually relate to the American people would have a higher chance of making it in with a fixed budget. I'd love to see a person with no incentive besides helping this country become our President. I guess that's just wishful thinking though.

i like reggae music, i play reggae music in my house

you HATE reggae music and are offended by it's presence.

IF you come to my house, Tough Noogies, my house is MINE and i like reggae.

IF on the other hand, i go to YOUR house and start playing reggae music, then you can bitch.

Third option:
IF you go to my freinds house, who also likes reggae, and i am there, playing the steel drums, you still have no right to bitch

Many Christians are in that religion because of their peers and the fact that Church is a good place to meet potential customers.
You don't really think most people go to church to be closer to god do you? The most horrible people on earth go to church every week because they feel it absolves them of their sins.

It doesn't help that the priests tell people that giving money to the church keeps them in good graces with god, but people believe it does.

The majority of Americans are Christians though.
