About HQI question

Im grow 4 plate for now.(Im use T5 about 100W now).It about 2 weeks from seeds,the grow speed it kind slow.Im thinking to purchase 1 HQI 400W(12000k) for the grow stage.Is that good idea to star that way?
Or anyone can help me to have better idea for that thx
P.S:Can anyone help me what is the different btw HQI and MH ?Thx

I think you should look into T5 lighting.
It's not that expensive to buy.
If you get a six bulb configuration it should put off about 15000 or more lumens, which is plenty for vegging.
Plus it won't hike up your electric bill.
You can also put the light inches away from the tops of your plants.
The best thing about it is, you can run these bulbs for approximately 50,000 hours before one burns out.
Even if one burns out, a bulb only costs about $7.

Thx my friends that wil help me a lot.Here is another one..Can i also use HQI for Flower stage?Cus they also have 250W ,400W and 600W too....

HQI's are MH bulbs. They are used alot for marine aquariums to grow coral and such. They are very tiny like the inside guts of a regular MH bulb. And they usually have the ballast mounted in the fixture as well as a fan. Might run too hot maybe.
MH's are normally Veg lights, not so much for flower.
