After some time off from growing (2 months lol) to tend to family business and the outdoor crops (veggies etc), I am back and ready to go! Please feel free to ask questions, add discussion, give constructive(helpful) criticism, clean jokes, and add your own pics!

Purchased Gear: G13 Labs C99 x 3 (C99), G13 Labs Blue OG x 2 (BOG), Humboldt Seed Organisation Blue Dream x 2 (BD), Paradise Seeds Delahaze x 1 (Dhaze), T.H. Seeds Original Bubblegum x 1 (BG), Green House Seeds Jack Herer x 1 (Jack), Nirvana Seeds AK 48 x 1 (AK48)

Working Strain: Kamehameha Kush. Hawaiian OG and Mango cross. I've been working on this trying to get a strong pheno with close nodes, the fuel smell of OG, and the fruity taste of both mixed evenly. 13 seeds later I have found my first with tight nodes and that pungent OG fuel smell. Hopefully the high potency, stability, and fem are all the case. A little worried though because she has a 4 bladed leaf (unstable?)

Set-Up: 8x4 tent with 2 600's, but upgrading to 1000's in 2 weeks. 400 cfm fan which will be upgraded to 600. Humidifier for veg, dehumidifier for flower. Upgrading the A/C in the room to an additional small unit along with a 5 gal bucket A/C for cool night temps.

Nutes: Undecided. My last run was organic and the taste was more nicely rounded, but yield suffered. I'll be using aerated compost tea until I make the decision.

The girls are doing great! I've got a couple plants being a little funny, but with all new strains it might take a little to get tuned in. Topped a couple yesterday because they are exploding! The C99's are ridiculously vigorous! I believe I have a common pheno to the left and a different one second to the right. This Blue OG (far right) is having some weird leaf issue and the other (not pictured) is wretched looking with zero spacing between nodes. Definitely gotta pull that mutated thing out. I'd say this strain is not G13's finest work, but I hope I end up being wrong! 100_1282.JPG
I've been busy upgrading the tent further; Smart pots, the Vortex S-line 8 fan, another Apollo 600, and as soon as I have the rest of the money I'm buying a 1000cfm filter to go with the fan. Everything should be here by the end of next week.

Some of the girls have little yellow spots on them. I originally thought it may have been a pest, but I think it happened due to misting with too intense of light.
100_1285.JPGJack Herer is doing great. She started a little later than others hence the size difference. Solid structure thus far.
100_1286.JPG Delahaze was started later as well. She had the lights directly over her like the rest, but she is stupid lanky Her leaves also look a little droopy, bot sure why. I don't think I can run this again because of the height issue. Topped her today.
100_1287.JPGThis is the Kamehameha Kush I've been working on. It was started about 15 days before the others so she desperately needs transplanted. All of my smart pots will be in tomorrow and I'll be doing it then.

100_1288.JPGCinderella 99 #1&#2 (numbers according to sprout time). These aren't really yellow like they lookit was just the light. They are a light green color though. Both have been topped and look to be the same pheno so far. Both have been topped.
100_1290.JPGBlue OG Kush (#1). She was doing great and out of nowhere he top leaves folded funny, yellowed around the edges a little and her growth was stunted. Hit her with some tea with extra cal-mag two days ago and growth has resumed.
100_1291.JPGBubblegum. Nice tight nodes, Beautiful leaf structure, and a nice thick stalk. She's got a donk. Deciding if I should top her.
100_1292.JPGBlue Dream (#1). This girl is also sexy. Like her leaf structure and tight nodes. Anyone know if Blue Dream does well with topping?

Oh sure she does, I top the hell out of all my plants, all sorts of strains. Just wait until they have healthy stable root systems, and when there is enough node growth, find a good spot to split and chop her! It feels counter intuitive, but it only helps the plant get stronger and creates more top colas, which is where the weight is at.

Whenever I have yielded big from a run, I have noticed two common themes. I let them veg a little extra long, and I was ruthless with frequent pruning. Top and bottom. These don't come easy to me, as I am lazy and impatient.

Although other times I have had strains (querkle, SF sour d) where it was so naturally bushy, I topped once, twice at the most. They looked like little candelabras. That what I aim for.

My 2 cents.

I can't see too clearly but from what it looks like I would let the bubble gum grow a bit more before I topped. You should always cut down to healthy big nodes.

If it's too super bushy to work with, you could try raising the lights to make it stretch, IDK how your lighting is set up

Mine was a cutting from one of original Midwestern pk ripper. At least that's what I was told
Keep me updated on that one! Never seen one before! Always cool to see different genetics. You ever ordered seeds before? It's really not that scary once you do it a time or two. I can recommend you to the the genetic "stickers" Dank has over there if orders are being taken. I order from tude typically, but my next will be those genetics. Always good to support those that have supported you!!!

I actually was given seeds that were sitting around for 3-5 years So the few i have left are mystery strains. diesel original, heavy duty fruity, ak-47, some original sour strain. My first grow i only kept one plant the others turned hermit due to so many outages but i saved one. I am left with a couple viable seeds and a free original pk ripper clone that i about killed.. This is my first year growing anything.. This is the first year my grass seed actually grew. SO I'm stoked There are 237 photos of my first grow on 420mag.com member hydrodad

Seeds can store for a very long time as long as they aren't exposed to light. The only times I've hermed have been due to weak genetics or lollipopping, but my elec company usually comes out even in hurricanes to turn it back on. Never been off more than 3 hours! Clone that reaper before you go 12/12 light schedule so you don't lose the genetics if they turn out good!!!
