Nowhere did I say he couldn't. Westboro Baptist and the KKK have the right to say what they want, we have the right to point and say what idiots. They can protest at a soldier's funeral by law, but by decency, I don't think they should.

It's not a justification, it just means he has a right to do so. Ha Ha your mom has cancer and is going to die a painful death is just not how a polite society advances and will never be justifiable. You can hate someone for having a different political opinion if that's how weak your mind is, but going after their family is petty, childish and anti-social. I say the same thing to people when they attack Buck's wife even though buck actually gets a kick out of it, his wife has done nothing to anyone here and his jollies over it are just one more piece of evidence of his disorder.
This is me exercising that same right.

It's obvious to everyone that he's trolling, but his sickness pushes him over the edge sometimes. Something is inherently missing from people who delight in other's misery, it's even more sociopath to continually try to cause that misery then brag about it.

Maybe its just different mentalities culturally so I don't understand the offense, but it seems Americans are more "touchy" than we when it comes to verbal insults.
I don't mean that insultingly, you know I genuinely like America and her peoples, just a bit more self deprecation would do yous a world of good in integrating society.

Absolutely. We are a sensitive bunch over here. Mocking someone for losing a family in a horrible death is one of those things we tend to frown upon. Is this normal behavior in your neck of the woods? I mean we invented the your momma jokes here, but haha your mama is so sick, she's going to shrivel up and die a horrible painful death will get you killed on the playground. It's not even acceptable to ten year olds here.

I make a distinction between what is said to my face in a genuine manner intended to be harmful and what is said by a troll on a forum where 99% of the posts are pure trolling.
I suppose its my belief in a totally free internet combined with my belief in free speech, it perhaps allows more (perhaps too much) tolerance for what is said online?

That is because American's actually believe that the USA is the only "free" country in the world and that People from the USA are much more superior than any other country's citizens by far, in every way imaginable. People from the US believe that the entire world has the USA as its center of the universe and each American is the greatest personality alive, way better than any other country. The thing is, forced "desegregation" relies on employing force to implement and maintain, not to mention a coervice government to dream it up. Making two people associate when one or both don't want to is not a solution that uses a peaceful means.
A person that supports leaving others alone is not a bigot, if that person supports the right of ALL people to determine their associations absent any force or unwanted third parties intervening.
Uncle Buck advocates making people associate and thinks that in doing so he is preserving peace, which is logically impossible, because built into his method is a threat of violence for noncompliance. If the means are violent, the method and end result is often corrupted.
I do not favor a third party telling two independent parties what the nature of their relationship will be, that should be left up to the two parties. If one or both of the original two parties are not inclined to associate forcing them to associate is a form of enslaving them. Arranged marriages come to mind as an example.
