The Sugar Issue

So...
i read that when you add sugar to a MJ plant the sugar interacts with bacteria in the grow medium. And that bacteria is sucked up by the plant and thats what makes all the crystals. For Aeroponics/hydroponics since there is no soil full of bacteria for the sugar to interact with. Have they made some bacteria you can add to your res. that would be the equivilant of adding sugar to soil?

I just started using ORCA yesterday. But I am skeptical. Since everything I have read about mycos tells me that they will not survive in a hydro/ aero setup.

We shall see though. I have a link in my signature if you want to check every once in a while. It is actually about getting rid of gnats. But I am using the ORCA (which is basically liquid Great White Shark) but without the ectos.

Orca works in an aero setup. luckily I decided to use it before I read that i could not or else i would not have. I have also used microbelife photosynthesis plus and Extreme gardens Azos and Mycos. Mycos clogged my emitters i had to put it in a bag. I use a sweetner in my mix. I feel it provides food for my good bugs and it definitely makes the flavor better. I think light and temperature has a lot to do with better quality and better crystal production.

that's not how it works, If you have an organic soil, it has living bacteria and fungi that needs to be fed, you can feed with stuff like molasses in a brewed tea. In turn the microbes feed the plant. The "crystals" do not come from just feeding sugar. proper environment,genetics,lighting all need to be dialed in.

yeh many of the main companies that make hydro food have these additives in their range of products (nitrogen fixing bacteria)
this shit is expensive
