The OG I used originally for the cross was not that lanky, it seemed to have more of a stouter structure. I think the lankier one you will find comes from the ECSD that was used in the cross of the so called Headband (which was OG x ECSD). I had both long and stout headband/sour kushs with both long and short flowering times (the only reason I can think anyone has a dog that they would take to 12 weeks!!!) The main Dog that the seed stock was based on is a ECSD leaning with a proper funk to it (diesel/sour) with the strength of an OG and the high of the SK. Did I mention it's my favourite strain:) lol.

That described my tall keeper to the T. My short one sounds like the OG one you described. Its practically half the size of even the 2nd shortest but stacked and frosty!!! They all have a stanky funk and when theyre all together its hard to tell the smells apart. so much fuely lemon sourness in one room!

Well the Og leaning one is not like mega stretchy... Just like small buds on sticks that are super beautiful with a great funky smell. The other one is more stout and looks like what you described. I have tried the dog Jig grew out and it was super yummy. My two have shown no pods so thats good too.

I keep forgetting to take pics. LIfe is busy these days...

I have wanted to ask that before D, what was the source of your og and sour kush?
Indeed Mr West, a Q asked many times before.
So....:) The Headband, or lets call it Sour Kush for Politics sake came from a bagseed effectively. DNA genetics brought out their Headband variety in Amsterdam and started off selling their first batch (of end product) in the Grey Area coffeeshop back in (I think around 2006/7) Anyway, I bought a 5 gram bag and got a whole load of seeds from it and likewise with the OG I was given a couple of seeds from people at the GA and had some from the same batch after I bought a bag of it.....the dog was the bastard offspring from me growing out some of those seeds. Clearly after lab testing by HT, the Headband was actually just OG x ECSD, which is what we always said it was so no biggy, but in Cali clone only politics it obviously was big enough for DNA (or Reserva Privada) to change the name to Sour Kush. And that's that really. Hope that exaplins it.

I had to put the pscho killer up cuz although I ran this cut and few seasons now ive never seen it purple up lol. Prolly cuz ive never let it finish with all its leafs haha and ive always taken it very early as the sacrificial plant in the grow every time lol. Its always too strong when taken early so fug knows what itll bve like now.
