Any Tips/Advice For A First Time Grower

I just moved my roughly 1 1/2 month old girls outside after being inside and well protected from most bugs/pests and animals.
After I finally started to feel like I was getting the hang of things and everything was running smoothly with indoor growing. I Now am experiencing a whole new world of problems and solutions of growing in the great outdoors.
So any help/tips/advice on dealing with pest/bugs and animals and preventing any future issues would be greatly appreciated

Yes I read books and search the web day and night for fun. I just figure I would take advantage of this site and see what feed back I can get from anyone who willing to share.

Put up chicken wire around the base of your plants to protect them from deer and rabbits.

Buy a cheap sprayer from a garden center and spray your plants with one of the many mixtures found online. Neem is a popular one that will deter bugs.

Never leave trash at your grow. Makes it stick out like a sore thumb to helicopters.

It's better to under fertilize than over fertilize.

Don't visit your plot more than necessary. Doing so creates a trail that can lead rippers right to your spot.

And the golden rule... TELL NO ONE!

Patience.. a lot of it when it gets close to harvest.. Don't harvest early and Don't smoke 1/2 of it wet waiting for the other 1/2 to cure... +1 chicken wire...

A row of pennies ( ie one cent coins ) around the base of your plants will keep slugs off of them. Slugs have a bad reaction to copper, kind of like dogs with an invisible fence.

If you see small white dots on your leaves....look for mites on the bottom of the leaves...

Still copper left in them things? I read they're like 95% zinc now, and not even worth like $0.0005 (meltdown value) which seems absurd to me, but I guess notes / dollar bills material value doesn't reflect their denomination / spending value either...

Don't be afraid to use malathion or sevin or even permethrin during veg growth, you can do it weekly if required......when the blooms come, don't use this stuff, switch to the organic stuff.....
