Quality Bloom Booster?

What are some quality bloom booster you guys have got from hydro stores or wherever else that has really helped you rpoduce quality, fat nugs?

Also, when in the growing stage do you guys start giving the plant the fert?

I usually have used miracle grow or organic solutions but want to really get some quality buds this year. Also is outdoor.

bloom boosters don't do anything except cause nutrient abuse. They are marketing hype for the uneducated grower. If anything nutrient accumulators will work much better. Like kelp meal, rock dust, any companion crop, etc... Yield and bud size mostly depends on genetics. If you want larger buds, get a big yielding strain.

Well I can tell you from being in the industry for 10 years 98% of the bloom boosters out there start with MPK Mono Potassium Phosphate add water shake it up and put on a label on it. Some a a few extra salts but nothing that will make any difference.

If you want to grow some real good bud this year and your open to checking something fun out, you might want to look into making your own soil, or if your plants are already planted, check into making compost teas.

And that's all I'll say in hopes that someone will get in here with more experience in both of those.

I was a little skeptical of the hydro store nutes, I figured there's no magic right just certain npk and micros probably no different than mircale grow really
Didn't realize it was that straight up of. A rip tho.

I will definitely be looking into cow shit tea or horse shit tea then. Girls are already planted.

Used pro mix mycoactive, first year for mycoactive soil so well see how that goes.

I find they don't do much..if you don't "pre harvest flush" and feed till the end tapering nutes down some in last weeks ur buds will be nice and fat if you let them mature, the calyxes will swell and hairs will recede and it just have overall "done" look to it, try for 90-95% cloudy trichs if you want maximum potency

I already have access to and use my own manure (cow not human lol) and I started with a good strain, so really what I'm looking for is organic or chemical ferts I coulduse with a phosphorus content mainly for flowering, too late for soil additives, amendments.

Am now leaning towards organic from everyone's feedback as well as what I read in a thread by Uncle Ben

Basically you are giving the plant a PK boost at certain stage to make flowers pop up. So as they appear and then once the buttons are set.

Problem is people use WAY too much PK booster since most of the Phosphorus stays in the media for a long time and is not used up. So in reality you're just wasting product money.

probally less burn too. I gave a 6ft Chem DD a tea spoon of beasti blooms week 4 or 5 (I dont remember) run off is 750 ppm. Far as regular food would you proceed with the Bloom formula 2 ml or Gro sense its lighter in P? I utilize pro tekt each watering. FFOF soil vegged for 2 months I think

Then plant the next plant. Top dress with same nutes then topdress again with castings and compost and water through out grow with various teas and various foliar sprays...

From my experience, all their nutrients are great, and give you the option to make certain mixes.

What I wanted to mention the most, is their "bloom khaos". When used as a foliar spray/feed throughout veg and the first two weeks of flower setting, I have noticed a 100% in increase in nodal development.

After two weeks you can water this stuff in, and it is a nutrient accumulator/facilitator/driver and helps the plant be able to actively draw in more nutrients. Helps with swelling for sure.


They also have a few more calcium sources phosophorus based products, a nice worm casting/seabird guano tea, and a carbon forumul that helps with the photosynthesis and the breaking down of sugars in the leaves. Also a nice fishbone meal that helps with asthetics, look, feel, taste and smell.


I'm not saying for you to go out and buy anything, I'm just sharing my experience.

I prefer making my own re-amended living soil, but I have enjoyed growing with these nutrients up until now with great results, both on medical cannabis and organic fruit and vegetable plants.

That sounds interesting def worth checkin out! I was interested in guana teas actually I see they havethem at thehydro store, and I am a cheap bastard but ihave a partner who helps pay for stuff so it's a lot easier that way lol.
