i just read your story about losing your keys rory.. i have never lost my keys, knock on wood, but i have lost my car while tripping before, and that wasn't very much fun either..
took about 6 of us a good, idk, 2 hours or so walking up and down block after block till finally one of us found my lil red bug sitting right where we left it..
i was always afraid of losing my keys at raves though, it was a huge fear of mine for some odd reason..

haha! i lost my car in a snowstorm coming back from a phish show..long story short 3 hippies laden with drugs flagged a county cop down the next day to give us a ride back to our car stranded on the side of the road..it had been towed..my friends had increased my paranoia by chiding the cop about his speeding..mind you,were all 3 in the back seat..crazy man..

yea,i allways check my keys constantly,but at this particular moment in time,i was 20 hits deep on some fluff,had gotten into a ketamine CANYON,and was being force fed ballons..the rest is in the annals of "shitty rory" history

lol, one time i went to this after hours club, and i was parked legally for after hours, but when i got back to my bug, it wouldn't turn over.. had to catch a train home, then a cab..
next day i got a ride back to where my car was, and of course it was gone.. i was parked in a no parking area for morning traffic, and they towed it.. had no idea where the hell it got towed, so i went into the store i was parked in front of.. cool ass indian guy, and said, oh yeah, that red vw beetle, they just towed it an hour ago..
funny story, they just towed my car last week two, and the lot is on such and such street..finally find the lot, pay the fine, get my car back, and of course it still wouldn't start.. get it towed home, and i'm out front working on it, and a buddy of mine who's a big vw guy pulls up, stops, asked what's wrong, gets out of his car, pulls the rotor off, rubs it on the ground, and puts it back in, car fires right up.. i was out a good, idk, 2 or 3 hundy by this point, and my boy started it up in 2 minutes flat.. yeah, i was pissed..

hmm,come to think of it,i have at least 4 lost car stories,all occured at furthur shows for some strange reason..

lol, i only have that one story, and time, of losing my car, thank fully.. ever since that time, i always make sure i take notice of both streets i'm parked on if i'm at a cross street, or the nearest street over if i'm not.. has always worked ..

i liked it,cause ive been through dozens of breakdowns/tour stress....imagine getting a flat tire with a 60lb tank,3 occupants,all in a ford escort,while in the middle of illinois farm land,with every cop in the state knowin it 3 days of furthur followed by 3 days of phish.

i've dropped several hits in the toilet in various clubs back in the day.. they'd always sell them in those tiny ass bags, and i'd head to the b'room to try and open them up, and on more than one occasion i'd rip the bag open with my teeth only to have the hit drop into the shit water..

dude i was on tour with dropped a sheet of gold gels in the toilet cuttin a few off for himself..he was taking too long so i went into get him,he opened the stall door,and had fished it out(why i do not know) and he stuck his hand out and showed me it stuck all over his palm! dumbass...we should start a thread "drugs youve lost?".

I dropped a couple hits in a tiny bag out of my pocket at the gas station a few blocks from my house about 3 years ago. I got home reached in my pocket to get the hits out to take them and realized what happened. Jumped in the car and sped back to the station and checked my parking spot.........BINGO there they were. Small enough no one saw them I guess, and lucky enough no one drove over them. Had a cool trip that night, watched some flowers bloom out of the ground in late october

Had another good trip off this tye die stuff the other night. 2 hits together this time, had noticeable visual distortion for about 13 hours. It was real cold so we spent the night inside, but had a great time.
