Hello, i am so so so confused about what soil to use outdoors, my pal has dug up said selected plot and turned it all over whilst removing notable bits of shit, i.e big stones, pieces of brick and all sorts, the soil is relatively good soil(covered in nettles beforehand) however i have no idea what to in with this soil to make it perfect for the girls, i have heard different things for different people ranging from standard soil from homebase and alike to making my own mix however i have no idea how to do this and in what proportions, any help would be appreciated!

You could test your soil with a soil test kit...like $7 from amazon.....
Hi, has been done come in at 7.1 considering adding some dolomite lime to bring it down ever so slightly however it is what to purchase to add to the soil which is the confusing bit for instance would a regular compost with a few organic bits added to it be good? And if so what organic bits, thanks!

I always use screened native soil and mix it with compost/ composted manure, quality topsoil with a little perlite, peat and a little sand for extra drainage.. that mixture has always worked for me.

If i opt for this route will i have to add every ingredient? And if i picked a few of these which would you say are the most impportant also how long would this stuff feed the plant for before i have to get other food involved thank u!

yeah add and mix the up...I think the ewc would be the most important...but they kinda all are...the happy frog & FFOF would be the base...perlite to lighten things up....coco wicks water well...lime for ph.... ewc for microbes ...

this mix will feed for around a month....
