I am currently growing inside for veg stage but plan on moving outside once they big enough and ready to flower
Im curious to know whats better. Putting them in bigger pots then in hole in ground or just digging a hole and putting them directly in the ground?
Which leads me to my next question. If the soil is good enough to use which i haven't had a chance to test yet
should i just use that soil or should i fill the hole with the soilless medium (BCuzz Hydromix HP) that i been using whole time so far

Hey RAYRAY you see I'm stalking you now right. Naah just wanted to see what's going on in the outdoors as I'm growing outdoors for the first time and all is well. People should chime in soon as they know more than us. I will say my soil outside has too much rock in it so I use # 7's with my own personal mix. Here's a few IMG_1641.JPG IMG_1718.JPG IMG_1720.JPG IMG_1721.JPG
I'm here for the ride Bro locked and loaded.

I would stick to what you know....You can get a soil test kit for around $7...

Seems to me that you are already dialed in on the soiless..Is that right? If so, like SenorBrown said stick with what you know best.

Given the choice of either soiless , soil, or a soil amended blend, I'd go with a smartpot above ground, mainly becuase the roots like wamer temps. I've gone both ways, and have had succes both above and in ground.

Depending on how much you want to get out of your grow, I'd go with keeping the plant potted and either shield the pot from the sun, or dig a hole and drop the pot in the hole. The sun is brutal in my parts, and left exposed, the coco I used as a medium would both dry out pretty quick, and heat up the root zone, which isn't ideal for the plant IMO. The wind here can be pretty nasty....and the hail storms......so a potted plant is great to have because you can pick that bitch up and throw er' in the house should mother nature decide to get bitchy on your ass.

Best of luck regardless.
