Guys, why don't you just post the relevant reference to the regulation to back up your respective assertions and then it's clear. http://www.laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/SOR-2013-119/
thanks for that.

A doctor can only transfer not sell to a patient. The patient must submit his medical document to a LP, and pay for their meds. You can then get it shipped to your doctor, then he can transfer your order to you.

so basically if you don't want your meds sent to your mailbox .... say if your homeless or something like that you can get it sent to your doctor's office to pick it up..... you can't buy from said doctor..... doctor's office is just another pickup point

Notice the street it's on? Albert St., where all the lawyers offices, judges and gov't folk 'work'. Bit too posh for most people but I assume they'll cater to the richer. Thanks for the post, never saw the and they're a block away from where I live.

This is correct though. The payment can't go through the medical person.
I'm wondering if they can physically hand it to a medical person on the facility or not though.. I would imagine the security regulations make this part difficult, but there may be enough loopholes to make it work.

Somebody that has a "clinic", that has doctors writing "approval documents" is not going to get an LP.

To the best of my knowledge...A doctor can receive a patients order from an LP. store it for the patient, and then hand it to the patient.
It's an alternative ship to location, that's all.
True dat. 3 I called will not ship to a hostel, mission, or other shelters for fear of quick resale to the 'others'

The clinic would house 2 doctor physician offices. Once your appointment is completed with them, you would then move on to another part of the building where you would sign up with the LP. Then you could choose to have it mailed to you or arrange to get it picked up at the doctor's office.
There is one of these in London...the doc from the methadone opened it up last week

Yup. I'm in London regularly and have heard all about him.
He's trying to charge OHIP for each visit and, to the best of everyone's knowledge, he's not busy, nor will he ever be.

I originally assumed his profit model would be in LP commission, but it's not - it's just OHIP billables.
