I hope it's not going to be a Everyone's signed up type clinic and they(doctors) actually do their do diligence on ensuring patients are medical patients and not "recreational" patients. I'm all for doctors willing to prescribe for only a normal doctor visit fee paid by our health care system
Also would they sign someone up for a different LP?? or are they exclusive to only signing up to where they work out of?

Actually, if you go on their website right now https://newagemedical.ca/ thats all they do. As they have not yet been accepted as an LP yet, their services include hooking patients up with LP's, DG's or dispensaries. They also help you find a doctor. Apparently they still charge a hefty fee for these services.

You really think Sam will get approved as an LP? He has quite a lot of baggage.
The government did give him a license to grow an unprecedented amount of 292 plants of cannabis as a DG for him and 2 other people back in 2009.

I'm fairly certain that doesn't fly under the new regulations - there pretty strict about how the product gets transferred and it cannot be dispensed directly from the facility in any way. It has to be sent by approved courier in a discreet box, which then has medically approved containers inside with the actual product, prescription label, etc. I agree with @leaffan - good luck with that. Also, there are 100s of companies in line for an LP - some have been working on it for 6+ months - and it's almost impossible to predict who will get a license unless they have deep pockets or political ties.
The clinic would house 2 doctor physician offices. Once your appointment is completed with them, you would then move on to another part of the building where you would sign up with the LP. Then you could choose to have it mailed to you or arrange to get it picked up at the doctor's office.
