and that's one hell of a way to cure Im not as awesome as that I just trim everything that doesn't have trichs on it hang it for 3 days trim the rest(keep for oil) then throw it in some jars I put in a cabinet and open them and actually dump em out for 10-15 once a day till I feel they aren't squishy and wont get moldy then I only open the jar every 3 or 4 days and the last week I leave it shut. may not be the most badass way but it still comes out dank

I know plenty of peeps who don't use hygrometers and snap a stem and throw it in jars and burp by feel. ...I'm just a bit compulsive, lol. That's why I said there's definitely other methods, this just works for me. It's actually the same exact thing except I use a 8 dollar hygrometer to tell me when it's ready.

haha, I dunno bout that. It's all the same...trim big..leave little (with trichs)...dry a few days...trim the rest, jar...burp...close. I just don't like guesswork. The only thing you would have to do different is throw a hygrometer in ur jar to see where your humidity is...if you want badass curing. More than likely you may find it's perfect and you've been doing badass cures all along. Oh and a fan?...but that's just a preventative measure to keep air moving so mold doesn't grow. If your cabinet is in a room with low enough humidity...I don't think you even need that.

I trim (not fully, just the big foliage) and hang in a dark closet. Leaving some leaves makes a slower dry. I keep a fan on low speed in there (pointing AWAY from the flowers) for circulation. The size of the flowers determines how long I hang for..3-5 days is an avg. When the stems are dry enough to make a snap but not completely splinter off..I put the nugs in jars with a hygrometer. Monitor and see what the humidity is in the jar. If it rises quickly (like a percent an hour or more) I open and let the buds dry some more. Once the humidity is locked between 55-60% I keep the jars shut in a dark place to cure. My room is about 72 degrees, with 52% humidity. I taste test at two weeks but I do a one month cure. If I got the time I'll do 2 months. A lot of people have diff tips and tricks but, this works for me. Oh, and, if you let them get too dry like below 50-55%, the curing process won't happen so you want to keep an eye on them day to day, when you hang.

I haven't. But I have heard of the method. I'm sure someone, at some point on RIU has done a comparison, lol. My friend uses a mesh drying rack, too. He loves it.

don't go the paperbag way mannnn maybe a quad or something but just think once you cut the plant it isn't all the way dead it is still slowly turning those trichs ripe. when your curing the longer you can keep that moisture in there the better quality bud when you throw it in the paperbags it dries it up superquick not letting the trichs develop more fully and might even leave you with a catpiss smell/taste

they call it curing because its like wine it really does get better with age to an extent I wouldn't cure more than 2 months 1 month is usually plenty ive had some I only did 2 weeks

Hydro is great to use but can be a strain on the wallet with all the gear you need,but most systems can be DIY,which can reduce the price,the pay off hydro is close to 50% faster then soil,an the yields can be xtream depending on the system you use an strain,your plants look great mate good on you....

I call bullshit. it doesn't matter what setup you use the growtime is in the strain not the medium if I take a plant that flowers in 8 weeks grow it in soil and have a clone I do in hydro they are both going to be 8 week bloomers...please explain

let it sit on the counter overnight then stick it in a little jar for about a week or like me I usually have a half o of dried to smoke I just trim it up an throw it in with the rest let it chill in the jar and if you can wait at least 2 weeks it'll get you a lot higher it'll let the trichs develop more
