You only BELIEVE that the product will smell like the strain? You are using bat guano. It sounds like you have never seen the strains grown with and without bat guano to know what it is supposed to smell and taste like without guano. It will all taste like guano. Do some R & D before releasing poo. Read this thread. There exists something called Mariguano. You must be growing Mariguano. But hey its ORGANIC so that makes it ok.
MARIGUANOGRAM.com is still available.
you might not be happy about the new laws, and we all get that, but we can't change them. your beef is with health canada, not a company who hasn't even released a product yet. just saying, your problem is with the whole thing, not bat shit. I totally get why your mad, but don't degrade something before you have seen it.

I love helping others. I love taking the time to teach others. The slowest way to learn is experience. Advice can save time and stress and money. That`s what these forums are for sharing advice and learning. With Organigram I suggested learning about the effects of growing with bat guano before releasing something that tastes like bat poo. That is not beef that is love. How are the executives at Organigram to know this without experience? Every grow shop in the world will try to push bat guano on the customers. Does that mean it is the best way to grow the best medical marijuana? Of course not. Someone on this thread brought up the word Mariguano. If the word exists then there exists someone on the forum who knows exactly what I am talking about. I am certain that the loyal bat poo growers are totally against my words. Ask them when was the last time they grew without bat poo? They have nothing to compare with. Go become a judge at the Emerald Cup and you can do your own R and D. There were 350 organic outdoor entries last year and probably more this year. You will notice which has bat poo flavor and which doesn`t.

Obviously nobody wants a product that tastes like bat poop lol. I'm not knocking your experience. I looked at the green medical website, i am aware that you know your shit and i would never try to state that i know more. all i was saying is don't knock their product before its even been given a chance. thats all. I have close friends who grew under mmar, and ran into a couple taste issues with guano and resolved them, and continued to use it because its a healthier choice.

Thanks brother. Now we have some more opinions to let people know that there are possible taste issues which will interfere with the taste of the actual strain. As a breeder I need to know what the strain truely smells and tastes like to make wise decisions. Guano makes it difficult for my nose to detect the strain`s own terpene profile.
