My leaves are getting brown and yellow spots. The sides of the leaves are curling up too. I put epsom salt to see if it was a magnesium def. leaves uncurled a bit but others started to. I don't know if its heat stress or a nutrient problem. I got another fan for my room and I raised the light(200W HPS) to about 2'. I know that might be too much but Im trying everything. Then the spots on the leaves, That could be a nutrient burn or deficiency .. I don't know. This is my first time growing! Help please.

Strain: Maui Waui
Age: 3 weeks
Room Temp: 72-74
Humidity: 52-55%
Light: 2 feet away

Nutrients were just changed today but I'm afraid the problem might happen again.
need any more info just ask. please

Leaf edges turning up sounds like a heat issue but your temps and light position don't seem to support this (presume your temps are at canopy level). Can you get a pic of the whole plant with your HPS light off and describe your source water and nutrients?

RO Water and I use GH 3 part with rapidstart and floralicious plus.
the ppm is about 473(.5 conversion) and the pH is 5.8.

Do you think it might be a CaMg issue ?

I'm not familiar with your nutes but good chance they do not have cal/mag in them. If that is the case, always good to add some to RO water. I can't really see the spotting but that is a symptom of cal/mag deficiency. I expect you will get more responses with these better pictures.

I think it's a newbie grower issue. Who gives a rip if some of your leaves have spots. As long as they're not dying left and right don't fret. Remember it's the Bud your concerned with not leaves. As I've said on this site many times before your not growing leaves your growing bud. And I've always got some discoloration on leaves but the bud always turns out to be quality fucking smoke. .

Welcome to RIU..... I have said this many times.... no grow is perfect.... no plant is perfect... lastly, all plants are different.

Couldn't agree with Bullwinkle60 more... dont get too concerned over a little blemish... Over all your plant looks good. Keep you eye on your girls. If something new pops up or if this gets any worse, let us know.

This is supposed to be fun... relax and enjoy the journey!

Good luck!
