a friend of mine recently did a grow last year, where he dug a recessed growing chamber of about 100 plants, in an area that is about 2000 sq ft. he dug each hole at 3'x3'x3' which is a huge cube of dirt, luckily we have a little mini bulldozer from grainger, and each plant averaged about 20 lbs wet, 8 lbs dry buds. (how is this overlooked when ppl grow indoors?)
granted that it's not the BEST OF THE BEST, the genetics are there (romulan, grape ape, OG 1998 kush) we blew most of it into wax using CO2 (which is legal now considering the updates of prop 215, no solvents can be used to process hash)
my question is, do i really need to dig a huge hole to get those kinds of yields? a cubic yard of dirt is no easy task with a shovel...
