Slow Growth And Clawing Top Leaves

340 Watts of CFL
FFOF Soil
Week 6 Veg

Plants are very slow growing, and new growth is clawing strange. I have only introuduced half strength nutes twice ( on alternate waterings) but have since ( last 2 waterings) only used plain ph'd water.
The only thing out of wack may be the temps ( usually 85 Degrees F)

Lower leaves don't seem to be clawing

Will do, and have been doing this for the last 2 feedings. doesnt seem to be helping out yet. Could it be the heat? I dont see any folding along the edges which is what most heat photos show.

I don't think it is heat, heat makes tips and edges curl upward, yours are going down. Classic overfeeding symptom.

Did you mix your FFOF with anything like perlite and/or lime?

I agree with ColoradoDreams and Bugeye, there is too much N in your soil. Stop the nutes. I cant tell if you are at a toxic level or if its just too much. I do not grow many Sativa dominant plants and your pics are not the best (sorry). If you believe you are at the toxic levels, you should flush. If you believe the soil is just high in N, the plant will eventually use up the N in the soil, you can just ride it out giving it pH'd water.

As noted above... slowly bring back the nutes when the girls "ask" for it. Then only give them 1/2 of what is indicated. Then see how they react.

I did not think that FFOF needed to be cut with anything.... We are in week 6 of veg here so i figured all the nutriants that were in the FFOF were gone by now anyway ( it says 4 weeks, most reports 3 weeks) I am going to flush tonight and then see what happens.

FFOF tends to be a "hot" soil with plenty of nutes to get your girls for quite a while. Then if you transplant, the additional soil will provide another round of nutes.

I will mix 2/3 FFOF with 1/3 perlite and 1 TBSP of lime for each gallon in the container.

Just my two cents worth.

Good to know, I transplant from rockwool directly into my final pot size. again that was 6 weeks ago so I assumed the nutrients were depleted by now. I am going to flush and report back. thanks for the help.
