Are they sick?

I wanted to post an update because I'm concerned about the girls. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think they're doing very well. Any feedback/advice would be greatly appreciated.

It's been ten days since they broke through the soil. I have no experience with this, but I feel like they're small for their age. They all had roots sticking out of the holes in their cups, so I transplanted them into these pots. I put them in the same soil as they had in the cups, but I mixed some perlite into the new soil. I transplanted on Sunday, and I figured once they rooted in the new pots they would take off. This clearly is not the case. Am I right about them being small for their age, or am I being overly concerned. Also, they seem to be getting a slight yellow tinge to them. I only water when the soil dries out, and I haven't used any nutes.

I've been keeping them in my greenhouse during the day, and moving them into the house at night. I started doing this when they were still in cups and they seemed to be doing pretty well. But now that they're in bigger pots they haven't been growing and they don't seem healthy. They cover too much area for my little 24 inch T5, and I really don't want to go buy another light since they'll soon be in the greenhouse full-time. I know they're probably a bit young to be putting outside, but I figured getting sunlight would be better for them than being deprived of light with a tiny little T5 for all five of them. Am I wrong about this?

So do they look sick? Is there anything I should do, or should I just wait and see what happens? Do they need nutes? I'm afraid that I might be killing them, but I don't know what to do. Please help!P1030834.JPG P1030834.JPG P1030835.JPG P1030836.JPG

Take a few deep breathes, a few tokes, and relax man.

If you have any cfl bulbs, they make excellent supplemental lighting and they're great for seed starting. And they're fine for only 10 days, especially considering you transplanted them. The yellowing may be from lack of light, but definitely don't give them nutes yet. Personally, I don't like feeding them nutes until they start looking a little on the hungry side.

,These girls are too young to get this worried. As Uncle said, relax. While we all want everything to go perfect, the fact of the matter is, no grow is perfect. There are always something as each grow and plant, for that matter, is different. This is supposed to be fun and enjoyable.

Again, I agree with Uncle, do not feed them until they show you signs of wanting to be fed. If you don't know when this is, keep posting and asking.

I would only add, that unless you top dressed with additional soil after adding the perlite, I think you could have used a little more perlite.

Keep us posted... Good Luck!

Hi, the above advice is spot on just thought I'd chime in a little.
Your stage of growth is spot on for 10 days, you are getting your 3 fingered leaves. The reason you would have noticed a slow down in growth rate is because of your transplant. No, it does not mean you stressed them but they are now working on something other that leaf development (although this is still happening just slowly). As soon as their roots have taken up adequate space in the pot, growth will take off again.
I would however advise against the sun so early however your girls seem stable enough to handle it now. Your t5 should be sufficient enough for the next week after which they will truly take off under sunlight.
Wishing you luck and most importantly, enjoy it and don't over-think things. ;)

I appreciate the replies and the encouragement. Thanks, guys.

Do you think it's necessary to bring them in the house at night? The coldest it's been getting overnight is around 9 C. Sunrise around 5:45 and sunset around 8:45.
