Strangely short flowering bubba

I'm having two plants in dwc buckets, both started at the same time. One is greenhouse seeds bubba kush, other is critical jack, Both are in the same cabinet, having same growth conditions. Jack is flowering as I've expected based on my previous experience, but bubba is making me wonder if something went wrong. When I switched her to 12/12 she did her stretch normally, started pushing pistils normally, but then perhaps just 2 or 3 weeks after starting to flower, she stopped producing new pistils and old ones shriveled and turned red. Since then, plant isn't going through much change. They are on week 9 and trichs are looking good, almost ready for harvest, but buds are not like normal colas but like smaller cones sticking out of the stem. Not having experience with the bubba genetics, I'm wondering is that just the way that plant grows, or did something cause it to stop producing more flowers?

Opinions will be appreciated.

Unfortunately, I have no photos, I don't have a habit of taking any because of privacy concerns and I can't take them now as I already harvested. Other then a slight nute burn (that plant really didn't like being fed much), there were no visible problems. Temps were 20 to 26 C (68 to 78F), pH was adjusted daily and kept in 5.5 to 6.5 range, water temperature was 18C (64F). There were no major light leaks.

Update: Buds have dried up a bit and I've noticed FEW seeds pop out. About 10 of them from a large plant. I'm quite sure there are no male flowers present anywhere and other plant that has not been harvested yet is showing no signs of being polinated (plenty of white hairs, empty seed pods...). Is it possible that a plant produces some seeds without producing a male flower?

Sounds like it went hermaphrodite and had a few hidden male flowers, just enough to pollinate itself partially. Odd for a plant grown from seed, generally happens at about generation 9-10. I would guess the stress of flowering flipped it halfway through and caused the miss-allocation of resources for bud development, causing the poor results. Sounds like you got some shaky genetics.

Thanx for the answer.

No more greenhouse seeds for me, I guess. I also have some nice clones from that plant that are, it seems now, going to scrap :(.

Edit: at least what I got seems to be a nice smoke.
