do you cover the lid with owt to make it light tight budol? and what sort of pump/airstone you using?

anything with bubbels and water needs to be blacked out spesh if cloning the darkness is needed to make the plant root....

you can put 2 clones in each site. (shouldn't be in there ling enough to tangle)....

Yes just gaffa tape don and no dome just on bottom of heated prop to keep water warm, I'm going cricle.holes holes this time aswell, and it's a 4" disk air stone I use and a cheap long stick one for my smaller 1, the pump was off eBay from China 45 quid with 4 outlets, payed for its self 1st time round

i think i've been underestimating the bubbles i need, i've had a 5inch airstone doing 9 cuts on a small pump. think i might get a new lunch box but just big enough to fit the stone and have another bash.

don't heat the water......wa water cant hold dissolved oxygen....u see bubbels but there's no air dissolving into water......it will also encourage bad bacteria...not good for cuts....howbig is your cloner to need a 4 way pump man!!!

lol i ask about 'iorning out the creases because obv you are a breeder and make and sell seeds....and Imo the dog strain feels quite unfinished however i would be referring to the s1 not realizing there's a bx2 ....

so are herms still present in the bx2??.......is there still viable pollen being produced??.....if i remember correctly the strains u have mentioned only put out narns near death and these do not produce viable pollen......

i personally would love to grow dog but a herm strain that's super stretchy and pretty low yielding with the possibility of a 15week flower ().......puts me off at least with chemdawg the narns don't seed, flowers are huge and smoke is super stinky and potent......

im not trying to piss anyone off, but the sample don sent me was very very very tastey poss my number two fave.....and id love to buy a few packs, but there's too many kinks in the pipework for me......herm traits will go on and on producing herm plants i want bud not narns!!
Firstly, there are many Dog seeds in circulation, many of which are not S1's of the Dog that I run. I have never grown a 15 week Dog strain, and I trully suspect that the Dogs that have been grown to this length are perhaps crosses of something else.

And you are granted your opinion, Lemon but as I stated, how on earth can you stabilise an S1 strain short of introducting and back crossing with another strain.

So, on to the stabilising of the Dog strain, the BX range. There has been work done on the dog with backcrossing from a male that came from an OG of similar linneage. The resulting seeds have produced good results with only the odd plant showing any sign of producing herm traits.
More work will be done on this strain in the future. I just do not have the time or space to do that....things are changing on that front.

So what I should be saying is, if you want Fire, then buy a pack and do some work, or get a clone from someone that doesn't have the issue. OR continue with Chemdog.

loooool that's the same tub in using buds cept mines smaller and was clear.......

remove the lid completly and get some polystyrene cut it so it fits in the tub......
melt some holes in and pop clones in.....

keeps water insulated from above light.....

clones alwas remain in water as it sinks as the water drops....

when its time to take clones out just snap em out the polystyrene!!!

My last cloning batch was 100% in 9 days 10/10 So happy to get things back in order! I was so excited that I went ahead and took more clones last night!

What I did this round: I bought root riot plugs instead of using the happy frog in party cups. I bought a little packet of clonex solution instead of the powder from lowes. I used bottled water from the grocery store instead of tap and I actually PH'd it to 5.8 using drops of superthrive instead of PH down. I soaked the root riots in the solution, then also used the same spray on the foliar and dome. I misted the dome and plants for the first 2-3 days then only the dome. Once I had roots poking out of them all I transplanted them into little 16oz party cups with happy frog to protect the roots that were showing. This was done under 18/6 light with an LED and no heat mat, just in the bedroom closet.

My confidence has returned! So much in fact I'm going to go back to cloning in veg before the flip instead of keeping moms.
i did the same thing,b i got the cococubes. will be getting some root riot and doing a side by side.
LK i only got two nanners on on plant out of five

Going to water mine this morning tie them down tighter and flip on Monday hopefully the ignitor is here on Tuesday for next watering
aye, its was the first pip i grew and hit the jackpot first spin with that Dog. I'm not sure if it leant one way or the other in phenotype' s lol, more H.B but has the O.G lemon/Lime before the fuel kick-in, also has a funny stretch and sure does haul decent. Ive had a guy just grow one out, Its deff. the same plant so i have the pip's sussed, but not a great rep for the Dog so did'nt take any snap's! Just got the new tent, so hoping to get mine flipped ASAP!!!!!
