When I was a kid, the most they did at my ultra liberal feminist ELCA church was: on Wednesday they put coal on your forehead, on Thursday you had a potluck, Friday had songs based upon Jesus' last words in Aramaic while the lights went dimmer with each candle put out from the previous weeks, and on Sunday lots of lilies were in the church.

Whereas the Missouri Synod school I attended did the whole Jesus died so you gays don't go to hell, and washing feet, etc.

I am not sure, but having been raised as a good Catholic boy (Catholic elementary and high school), I was brainwashed to believe that eating meat on Fridays was a SIN.

That was a long time ago, and I have subsequently forsaken my superstitious upbringing.

I notice that Muslim and Hindu girls don't drink alcohol around teenage boys and get pregnant while the parents blame it on sex ed. They need to start doing that. Be like us! Speak English, drink alcohol, drive your car, commit domestic violence and get pregnant! Stop stealing all the good jobs and drink alcohol. Why do they want to keep their culture?
