First grow, seedling leaves very droopy

These little ones are to young to be worried this much. If you just watered, cool... if not... appears you have been over watering. Soil looks like it has a nice mix of perlite and consistency looks decent.

So, I offer this advice, do not kill these little ones with kindness. I can tell you are freaking out a little bit. Believe it or not, these plants want to live, its usually us "growers" that kill them... kill them with kindness.

I offer this advice... just when you think you should water... wait a day...maybe two....LOL....

Good luck and keep us posted.

Cheers!

Just for my grow experiences and living in Colorado, humidity is really low, like bone dry low... so my grow room sits at 24% humidity if not lower sometimes. So I water seedlings once every two days no nutes until 4th node. The dry humidity and higher temps draw the plant to feed more, so with humidity as high as 48% I would water every 3 days on seedlings. Remember, marijuana is a weed, its used to dry conditions and the fluctuation of humidity between 16% and 35%. Humidity above 45% can cause mold to form on the plant as well as the top of the soil. Doesnt help that the humidity rises at night for you either. Its bad news. If the humidity is at lets say 65% and the temp was 75%, that causes the dew point in the air to rise above 50degrees, thats swamp like conditions, thats what causes fog and damp condions. Thus causes mold, mildew snd fungus to grow, like shrooms.... bad news... sorry for the long scientific reply, lol...

Alright, thanks that's interesting though. Most of what I've read has been higher saying that 40-60% is ideal especially in veg. I'll just keep an eye on them and see how it goes.

Overwatering. When you start seedlings have much smaller pots to avoid this, the large pot is too big to dry quick enough between waterings causing this droop and stunting. Let the pot dry and light to lift.

Thanks, it's looking much better now everyone. Leaves are much larger and have straightened up for the most part. Nearly everything I researched about autoflowers said they hate tranplanting and to plant the germinated seed directly into the final pot, so that's why I did that. I have some regular seeds that I'll grow later and I'll probably start out with. party cups or smaller pots for those.

Everyone has been very helpful. I appreciate it! More updates will follow.

I'm 7 days from planting now. Not much change. The stem is an inch or so taller. No additional leaves yet, but they are slightly larger. When do you all thinking I should include grow nutes? I'm using bio-grow and the instructions say to start on the second week. Most of what I've ready about auto flowers, I should start 14-17 days in on grow nutes. Also it's suggested only doing 1/4-1/2 the dosages. Bio-grow says to use 2-5ml of nutes per liter of water. That's a big range, plus my pots when completely dry can probably only hold 500ml before run off. What do you guys think?

It depends on your soil. The soil I use has quite a lot of nutrients in it so sometimes i don't even need to add nutes during veg at all.

If you start 14-17 days in, then definitely go with a low dosage, that way u won't harm ur plants and u can observe the changes over the following days. As a general rule, pale-coloured plants are in need of nutes, dark green plants have enough or even too much nutes. If you get weird leaf symptoms (curling, clawing, yellowing etc.) that's some kind of nute burn.

Thanks grow. Yea, I guess the question is now to see how much nutes I should use. I just hope using 1-2ml of grow nutes in 250-500ml of water won't be too much. I read the linked article below that said to wait until I have 4 nodes before giving nutrients. That contradicts a lot of the information I've read. I still just have the one stem with a few leaves, so I guess that's one node.
