Happy 4/20 fellow growers! We're done with the stretch (I think?), and damn these ladies stretched their legs nicely.
4/20 is Day 80 from seed, Day 21 flowering (sort of). I'm calling it Day 21, they've been at 12/12 for 16 days, counting Day 0 from March 30th when I first flipped them to 14/10, then 5 days later to 12/12.

As for bud development, so far not bad for 16 days @12/12. I expected some bud development by now, but the JTR sat is a little ahead of where I'd thought she'd be. Both these strains are rated as "medium" producers, quality bud but not huge on production. However, with the multiple FIM's and some LST, this JTR is shaping into a little bud machine, I'm liken the look of it :) Interestingly with the Indica's, the shorter PBK2 has more bud development both in quantity and maturity of the buds, I'm pretty sure it will end up out-yielding the taller PBK1 (29" now). Tried to get some pics to show the differences between them. PBK2 is shorter/wider but the bud areas are much closer together, more dense, whereas PBK1 bud areas are spread out, thinner.

The JTR strain is smelling already, nice, light citrus/lemon smell, whenever I open the flower room doors it's all I can smell, and I have a terrible sense of smell!. The PBK's have no smell at all, even a 12/12 from seed PBK I have going for 9 weeks+ has no significant smell, this would be a good pick for stealth ops.

Here are this week's pics:
Group shots: (getting harder to get a decent angle from the front as they grow out, room is only 4ft wide)

Will post the rest of the pics in another post, hit the picture limit :(

Cheers :)

JTR2, nice bud development, the original main cola is going to be huge and is getting surrounded by buds :)

And here's an updated pic of the JTR Twins in the veg cabinet. Had to take apart any LST and re-tie her down as she was getting so dense in the centre, crazy density and tight nodes on these JTR's when running them under LED's.
This plant is going to be a nice bush in 2-3 weeks when I throw her into flowering. The smaller PBK's are coming along nicely now, they're past their weird cal-mag deficient stage they hit between week 4-5 (both rounds, same deficiency, same time period, seems to be a trait for this strain). I now know they stretch quite a bit in height so they'll be good to go in 2-3 weeks, will likely flip them to 14/10 in 2 weeks, then 12/12 and into the flower room to join the others a week later...

Good night!

Quick update, travelling this week so took the pics last night, day 22 of 12/12.

Girls continue to flower well. Seem to be right on track so far. Lots of buds popping. JTR2 and PBK2 are way ahead in quantity of buds/bud sites. PBK1 is doing well but the buds are sparse in comparison, still the tallest and could fill in but pretty sure the other 2 will out yield PBK1.

JTR2 is smelling up the room with s strong lemon smell, frosting up already and just continues to grow bud sites, she's going to produce nicely and is still ahead of the PBK's in both bud production and maturity of bud sites. She may surprise me, TGA claims this is a 7-8 week sat-dominant strain, which would be surprising but at the rate she's going she may well do that.

Have to do this in 2 posts due to the 10 pic limit:

I can't wait to see pictures I have been following this thread from the start... it's actually the reason why I join this site im going to buy these same lights I'll start with the 300w LED and I'll just continue to buy more congrats again on your progress!

Hey Hewalker, thanks for stopping by. So far, they're performing well, these pics were from yesterday, good progress at approx 3 weeks of 12/12, no complaints on these lights so far... Cheers and good luck with your growing.

Weekly update, Day 30 of 12/12. Will post the group shot then separate posts for each plant, with close ups to work-around the pic limits.
About 1/2 way through flowering +- a few days. They are all doing well, very healthy/happy. Continuing to grow new buds, bulk up, colas are filling in nicely, no complaints here :)

The one I'm liking the look of is the JTR. Lots of buds, already frosting up nicely and maturing fast. They claim this is a 7-8 week sat-dominant, wasn't counting on it but it could finish in 8 weeks at the rate it's going, that would be sweet. Smells fantastic.

PBK's are doing well, particularly PBK1, the tallest, buds are growing larger and more of them than the shorter PBK2. Still no smell of either PBK though, strange strain... Likely last round for this strain when I finish the two coming up, too many others to try and I like my plants to stink up the room :(

So far I'm impressed how the lights are flowering, better than I had expected, should be a good run and nice little bounty in 4 weeks or so :)

Sorry, to clarify, not multiple spectrum colours in one light, meant if they have like 2700 or 3000k colours for flowering purposes...
I am very concerned with QC from Ali/china, even with the high bays

I decided to go with BML Horticulture

Awesome real world USA company, based in Texas Oslon 3w diodes/passive cooling

They offer light bars (in 12" increments) where you can select your own diode colors, and/or various whites starting at $120

I have 2 x 3ft bars mixed with 2700/3000 but also a few 450s and 660s

By the way you spelled colors, perhaps you are in EU you might check Plant Photonics, which also uses Oslons

You're hitting the picture limits because you're attaching massive photos with way way more data than necessary. I'm surprised RIU is allowing this to continue.

Your pictures are running about 5MB each. 5MB is enough data for printing and hanging on the wall. 150KB or so is more than enuf for a forum. I'm gonna run up against our satellite internet data cap at this rate...

Lol, I'm Canadian, eh ;) BML, nor many US-based companies have much if any representation here, but some sell direct and support direct like A51, I think Apache does too.
I had to flip another 3 plants to 12/12 and didn't want to bother moving lights around or slowing down production, bought another 2x 300W of these LG LED panels to add to my flower room for now, $380 delivery/taxes/all-in, 4 days to my door, 205W actual draw each so they can easily handle another 3-4 plants at a time. As you can see, they seem to be working Ok. There are many competitors and options out there, if I were going to drop bigger money on a flowering light I'd be looking at Apache or A51, I'm sure these BML lights can grow but they seem a tad expensive and I'd like to see a few grows using them before acclaiming them to be top-notch, which they're priced as, show me the goods, then maybe I'd show them the money...

Sorry you're on a slow connection, but too much of a hassle to be editing/re-sizing every pic I post though. I barely get the time to post pics/updates. I'm surprised also as initially they had a 3Mb limit on single pictures.

When they were first setting up this new site I'd suggested they automate reduction of pic size, they can plug that into the site and users wouldn't have to spend a bunch of time editing/re-sizing pics + make it faster and hands off. Not sure why they haven't done that, maybe they've been dealing with finishing up the basic site functions, you'd think this would be a priority...

BTW: The limit is 10 pics per post, regardless of size of the individual pics, tried it, unless they've changed it in the last week.

Looks nice. Subscribed if you don't mind.
Absolutely not, the more the merrier, welcome! Quiet thread but a bunch of folks following it. Maybe it's because there seems to be a ton of Chinese LED users, but no-one wants to admit it??? lol

There is a finished grow on RIU and a review by the same guy

Thanks, saw your reference to it in another thread. What I really meant was seeing a few grows with them, they seem to be scarce at this point. If they are as good as BML claims they should start popping up soon enough.

I am LED used myself but I am using Vipar which I think is UK build. But to be honest some of those Chinese can outperform US and UK build but it is a bit of a gamble with them, your seems to be doing great.

If they are 3/4 as good as I think they are, I hope to start a trend

Not that there's anything in it for me (at least never discussed) but I get great pleasure giving back to all the peeps here who have helped me learn, and are searching for answers

If I was electrically equipped to trouble shoot, I would jump on the COB DIY bandwagon, b those guys run into issues I am not at all prepared to solve

The next best thing is the ability to choose my own spectrums, which BML let's us do, AND, see the results in real time

IMHO, companies like that need to be supported

They do sell direct, so maybe you an buy from them
