Helicopter flyovers

Man..I was all pumped about starting my first outdoor grow this year. I started some seeds about a week ago, and I found a great location in a wooded area behind my house. Then a few days ago I happened across a newspaper article about a couple who was busted for growing only five plants last year not too far from me. They were caught by a helicopter flyover. Now I'm second guessing whether or not I should do this at all. I was only planning on growing one or two plants, but I live in a Nazi state, so I'm just not sure it's worth the risk.

If the cannabis gods wanted us to grow weed outside and get busted, they wouldn't have given us electricity and the HPS light bulb.

Do what you think is best.

Once it starts producing trichs it can easily be picked up by infrared camera.They light up like a Christmas tree from the light bouncing off of it

Do you have neighbours who can see your backyard?, buy a hoop house or greenhouse with a shade of white or anything that isn't completely transparent.

A lot or aerial eradication operations happen over here in New Zealand, if guerilla just spot plant with 1-2 plants an area then move on the the next location - the more spread out your plants are, the more chance you have of ending up with something at the end of season.

I feel your pain of harsh nazi laws man.

If it is for personal use and you don't need alot of medicine, you might consider some Iranians and pinning them down real good. They are fast to flower and finish and can be kept low and stealthy. mix them in with other plants and they'll be tough to find. Kind of ironic isn't it? They steal money to fund a war against peaceful people. if you don't own yourself....somebody else does.

Not tryin to be argumentative, but wouldn't creating more tops increase the plants footprint making it more obvious to helicopters? I think those training methods are more effective for prying eyes at ground level. Just my opinion.

A shorter flatter plant is easier to conceal than a taller plant. Also you could literally stake the branches down so low that it would look like ground cover. Some people fertilize the raspberries or other cover vegetation to keep the same level of green as the girls to make it harder to distinguish. Also Iranians will finish by late July. Of course no method is fool proof.

I wonder if the people that fly around minding other peoples business ever wonder why they do the evil shit they do? They seem confused about what a real crime is and what a real crime isn't.

Thanks for elaborating. I have seen plants grown as ground cover. You wouldn't even think it is cannabis. Once again, I appreciate the response.

Im located in Kentucky in the appalachias. You won't find another state or country that has fly overs as much as we do here. Last year I was out cropping and a chopper flew over. I hid under a large pine tree praying like a mantis lol. I had over 100 plants in that area about 3 acres and they never spotted the first one. Ended up with several pounds. You just have to do your best at concealing trails, crawl under brush not thru it. Blend in you surroundings and throw some cheap grass seed on bare spots. Its hard as f*ck to grow here and get by with it. What you put in is what you get out. Spread em and put em everywhere and you'll get by with some. Oh, and myself i do all my work during the night. Helps very very much. Can kinda be overwhelming working alone sometimes especially when you smoke a good ole sativa and see the moons rising through the hollers, you'll think someone's walking towards you lol. I had a chopper fly about 50ft over two of my ladies last summer.. It could've been the power company inspecting shit or it could've been LEO.. I couldn't tell. One of my ladies was about 12-15ft tall and the other was 8-9ft tall. Scared the shit out of me at first, but they didn't come back. They either didn't care about just 2 plants or didn't see them at all. Those two were in my back yard and I definitely learned my lesson.
