There are many "hobbyists and home growers" who can grow some straight up amazing herb. They post pictures, they write reviews, they help others on this site. And in a med state it isn't hard to get patients, there is always demand for the herb. So far from you, all we've seen is you running your mouth, insulting some damn good growers, and acting like some high school jackass. Have you noticed that most people are not having a cock waving contest on here? The shitty attitude you have isn't going to make you many friends on these boards.

My view is why should greenhouse be any less good breeders than anyone else? Cannabis plants aren't created in the image of their owners. They don't know arjan is a cock. And it's not as if GH are going to breed with inferior plants. They are gonna look for decent mothers and fathers to produce the seeds... that is like day 1 of breeder school right there. SO imo their seeds are gonna be legit as anyone elses. Sure there is a few runts in every litter no matter who you go with. Hermie problems is a trait of cannabis genotype, not fem seeds or breeding practices. I think you have a lot of people who don't know wtf they are talking about or how to grow properly hating on greenhouse mixed with a few good growers who end up getting those instances of poor phenotype and then linking that with all the grenhouse hate and concluding that indeed gh do suck. HAve I grown gh yet? No, becuase of the fear the internet has created, but I'm going to see for myself

When many of the same reports, grow journals, and experienced growers report similar things, I doubt it some conspiracy against green house. Simply look at other boards too, you will see similar examples. I'd rather learn from other people's experiences/mistakes than repeat them, particularly when there is a consensus amongst most

I don't think the analogy of the placebo effect is appropriate nor applicable. I do agree with your first sentiment that people will avoid them based on others reports with out trying them. And this is a problem how? It's a problem for the GHS reputation, but not the grower. I personally don't want to spend time or money on something that turns out useless even in the hash pile. Like I said, I'd rather learn from others experiences instead of simply reaffirming the experiences of others

Well whether or not the placebo effect is applicable is a debate for another day. Does the mind have the power to cancel out the psychoactive properties of a drug based on expectations. Some might say yes, some might say no. I don't think it has been fully understood as of yet. Back to greenhouse. What about SLH? All I ever read is good reviews for that.

That was not my arguement. My arguement is cannabis is cannabis, It is just a plant and the package makes no difference. The genetics held by gh are the same as the differently named mr nice but yet gh's version gets a bad rep. why? .
Heres another angle to look at. Who buys Greenhouse seeds? Would you say the percentage of Noobs is much much higher than seasoned growers with knowledge? I would say hell yes, there is all the colours and shiny packaging and celebs on the website etc etc. So you might have a hell of a lot of Noob growers growing plants out badly and then jumping on the forumhype that it's gh that suck not them.
Theres a lot of arguements and angles to look at, my final view is don't knock until you try. If i try and get burned , at least I'll know.
That being said, If you have watched the grow session videos the measued thc is almost always way lower than what is advertised. I watched the chemdog video the other night and it only reached 9% thc by week 8 then they convieniently left it out at week 9. Though, that doesn't mean it's bad smoke.

I can speak from experience, years ago my buddy handed me a HUGE bowl of some super high quality Sour Diesel, I doubted his warnings and thought to myself it's not going to be very good being as it came from an unknown source and I was used to getting some pretty high quality weed from my guys at the time. Well I smoked this entire bowl in 1 hit and was higher then I have ever been in my life (exaggeration sure but I was really fucking high uncomfortably so). So for me, no. It doesn't work like that, maybe if I grew some weed and watched it grow for 4 months I might think it's danker then it is but I really don't think it works the other way around. If it gets you high it gets you high. IMO anyways. Best to always have a neutral party test your product.
As for this "Top shelf" shit it's getting super old
Everyone grows top shelf weed anymore few even post pictures. I had some guy arguing he'd smoke me his Top shelf Auto Flower... in a 1 gram bowl. The shit I am smoking on now if I smoked a gram bowl in 1 toke I'd be retarded for like 5 hours lol.
