ok... im only kidding ! im impressed you managed to get a harvest without knowing that.
the basic functions of a plant seem to have taken a back seat to this new culture of throwing nutes into everything and diagnosing symptoms... incorrectly mostly.

You cant grow anything without foliage not just cannabis any plant...

yes thats what i meant and im sorry man. its harsh having temps fuck it all up and make your grow like a graveyard . its happened to us all.. next time have a contingency. or at least have a seperate cab with some clones etc.

how much did I get? I pulled only like a half ounce....dry, and the buds were loose, cause the heat issue happened when they were in about week 6 of flower. things were going so good, then poof! heat is a mother fucker!~

what kind was it ? was it good despite the early pull?

it was called big bubba, got a clone from a friend. local Washington state strain.... it was really good, but like I said, loose buds, but very good. that's why I am so bummed about it! the buds were just looking sicker and sicker, until I threw in the towel.

yea, one step ahead of ya. i am gonna put a back up exaust fan in, in case one gives out like it did last time! there are no words to describe the horror i felt. like, fuck, there goes 2 months of work! live and learn. movin on!

maybe have the back up thermostatically controlled to kick in when you know the other must of failed or cut out cos of rise in temp.

seen where someone had asked if you can place a flowering plant back into vegetation.. here's 1 I am getting ready to revert now.. F1 Brush Hog --> also a Power Pie that has already flowered & was used in a cross & already started re vegging Brush Hog --> going back to 18/06 or 24/24 in the next day or so Power Pie -->

i feel that bro it happens . thanks to your new back up your good from here on in and can concentrate on having other non routine shit nailed ,like decent spider mite spray etc

a non routine garden checklist may be in order especilally when setting up a new grow theres always more chance of the non routine annoying shit happening. be terrible to waste more grow time since your so keen.

what sort of stuff do you mean, like this sort of thing, like, exaust fan, CHECK, back up thermostat exaust, CHECK, so on and so? im curious cause I am waiting for a couple of my new bubblicious auto's to sprout a tap root, so I can get em in the dirt. probably tomorrow! very optimistic here. I faced almost EVERY problem a plant can throw at you with those last two. lol they were 'my experimentals. figured I would learn on something I didn't have to pay 10 bucks a seed for! not sure if I am gonnna like growing autos or not...but I am optimistic. ready for what they can dish out! bring it on! lol

you have to think of your specific grow.. other things that if went wrong would be fatal to the grow. but yes a kinda checklist would be a good back up plan for the unexpected. like emergency spidermite spray or thrip spray etc.
an extension cable to run the grow from another part of the house if part of electric went down from one circuit board / breaker panel. do you have spare bulbs or emergency lighting if you main unit went down? any spare fans / equipment in good working order in case of another piece of kit going down perhaps?

just think over things that could really hamper the progress of your grow if they were to occur..
i like the idea of a laminated hanging card somewhere handy near the tent to remind me of things i shouldnt forget to do periodically.

anyway its however you like to do it.. i think you will love autos they are great fun !

your welcome . best simple grow journal as a template ive seen for layout is for the cannatonic on the resin seeds website its got a kinda layout for each week . it lays out a plan you can stick to. the conditions would of course differ per plant but the method is great.
