The Koch Attack on Solar Energy

if he wants to get all angry and rant about us as "wimps", "liars", "hypocrites", "idiots", and "punk asses", he's gonna have to answer for his own history of blatant and constant lying (as posted above) which then makes him a hypocrite since he accuses others of the same.

and if he's too much of a wimp to live up to his own past, he shouldn't have spilled it all over the forum for us. that was his choice.
So, these perceived personal sleights must be answered with vindictiveness? Resentment runs high.

If the conservatives that regularly post in this section had any honesty, they would admit this is a clear cut example of crony capitalism, they would be opposed to it, just like I am.
First, integrity has nothing to do with being a conservative or a liberal.

Second, this is the same bullshit all those lousy fucking politicians pull, which is why I am opposed to political parties.

Name a party, and you will find party specific taxation that does nothing but line the pockets of the politician, and their political cronies.

Look at the fucking "health care" act, for example.

Or "carbon credits".

This is more of the same bullshit, has NOTHING to do with any specific party, and should surprise NO ONE.

This is why in November every citizen eligible to vote should kick out EVERY single incumbent candidate.

Am I the ONLY person that actually has a PV array and makes his own power and sells it back?

The first few years I couldn't break even, solar was costing me money compared to just using the Utility (Hydro Powered). Not until the higher efficiency panels started coming out did the cost factor almost become even. Now My system should be able to pay for itself the year before it has to be completely replaced. Once the new 25% panels are on the market, we will actually be able to provide power Cheaper than Fossil Fuel.
I see you have a PV array. I understand your point about them not being efficient enough to be able to pay for themselves. Efficiency keeps increasing while cost keeps coming down. Eventually, there two will converge to become viable, though energy prices may drop in the near future, say after 2016, such that the equation may drastically change and PV will once again become the uneconomical choice. I think solar ponds may be a viable alternative, just because they are so cheap to build. There doesn't seem to be much interest in them, tho.

putting people on ignore makes you a wimp though and that fact that wimp is in your vocabulary means you're a kip lookin muffuka
Putting people on ignore deprives them of the audience they so desperately crave, tho I have to admit Killem isn't really in that category, but he follows those that are. There is a point where people become so obnoxious that ignoring them is the best way to handle the situation. I don't see it as being a wimp. I see it as the more intelligent choice.

Sadly, the odds are we will just replace them with more of the same.

You can change the pieces all you want, the game remains the same and you and me are always the loser
That's true, however, by removing all those lousy motherfuckers, they'll lose their ability to efficiently fuck over the citizens due to the fact that the new batch won't be as experienced at being a corrupt U.S. congressman. They'll make more mistakes, get caught more often, and some might even get the boot.

The corrupt politicians we have in place now are professionals, n00bs will be...well, n00bs.

But the fundamental aspects of corruption will remain the same. You'll still have lobbyists, unlimited campaign spending and backroom deals in favor of business interests. It's very easy to deceive in Washington and the rules governing politicians behavior are extremely vague and lax when they get into any kind of trouble.

We have to change the game if we want to make progress, changing the pieces is simply not enough
