speaker grow box

Hi guys new here just wanted to show of a grow box I made into a speaker, the pics show how the speaker was and what I added, I have two intakes and an exhaust fan, all are 4 inch pc fans, the fans are housed inside and there is no visible equipment anywhere, it's also 100% light proof, I have inlet holes drilled at the front on the bottom to alow air through to the intake fans

Looks good man, you should paint the outside with matte black or something.

Also, not a little suspicious to have a "custom sub woofer speaker enclosure" sitting in your room and not looking like it's hooked up to anything?

Yea I plan to paint it again and I have dj decks in the room and it's hooked up to them

So it works as a speaker too? Hahaha maybe the low frequencies will strengthen the stems.

Be careful with the foil on the inside, I read that it can cause hotspots. If it becomes an issue then you could always paint it flat white...

It's not foil on the inside it's all mylar, going to add a fan on the inside to move the air around

I have it up and running now, lights on temp is at 27c and lights off is at 20

One thing i did notice, is that foil on the inside? Be careful with that cause foil does conduct electricity which i sure u know just saying might wanna change that later

No there's no foil on the inside it's all mylar

the speaker as whole unit is (WxDxH) 16x24x36 inches
