my wand and my bowl broke. thats what I get for dabbing while I take a shit.. just using a lighter for now. I have an old school hash bowl that works sort of. it has a flat bottom with multiple holes.

Well my yield is a little disappointing on 2 cheese of and 2 NL og I got a zip each.. That's the over nitrogen fed ones. Then the other cheese og's pulled 2 zips each. The cbk 's pulled 2 zips each. Never use green mulch again!!!! A little over 26 zips 743.7 grams. But I also smoked an 1/8 (estimate) before weighing. Didn't add that in. Alot of larf buds went to hash. About 3 zips of larf total. That's not in the final weight either. I'. That's around 0.5 gpw / 1400w. I got much more per plant and buds were twice the size. last batch. Those plants were 1.5-2 feet shorter too . I'll post pics later. I attribute the low yield to grower error with new nute regiment and the green mulch.. Not the lights.

Saying you fucked up is a lot harder than blaming it on the equip/enviro or whatever excuse people want to use so tip of the hat to you sir for owning your mistake.:D
Also are they low/aver/high yielding strain? I was pretty disappointed with myself with my first harvest of space bomb but now i just know i am not pulling a qp a plant, happy to get half that with that strain....

the cheese og could be a low yielding strain
this was the first clone run of that. I did one seed of it laste batch and got 2 zips on 2 ft tall plant. These recent ones were 4 feet tall. The cbk' last batch, buds were twice the size with less stretching and pulled 3 zips each on 2ft tall plants. I had some defs and learning curves last batch too. I'm pretty sure I know exactly what I did wrong. So with the new tga / raredankness strains I expect a better yield. This time they are 50/50 coco / soil too. I picked some big cola strains when I got them.

with space bomb. I remember sub saying in weed nerd video that he pulled 10 zips per plant and time wreck and some others a he pulled a pound each. He grows giant plants. Who knows if your pheno is the same. I grew romulan before. It grew big buds. It was very short staying plant. In veg grew twice as slow as master kush. That one ridiculously slow too.

Wtf is wrong with green manure/mulch/companion crops??

Lots of free smoke......trim time, probably take you forever with your high standard:-P
reread my recent post about companion crops. If you can keep them going they work great. If they die off and stay in the pot. There will an over abundance of nitrogen. More leaf to bud ratio. My out door cheese og is small single cola plant. But a big cola. That's a different pheno too. I used clover on that one. No nutes at all. The clover died off. Faded first. Lasted 2 months. Where indoor they died after a couple weeks from drying out. The outdoor is very very green though. No fading... Almost done.

Sub said with his recent LED tests (yes Sub is trying LEDs) that he is getting bigger trunks, stems, and leaves. This is causing the plants to fade earlier than he sees with HPS.

Huh, thought in a recent weed nerd he said the reason he was crossing the Strawberry Cough was to achieve higher resin like the space bomb but he wanted to add yield to the Queen side of the cross with the cough cus it gets big old donkey dicks, if that makes sense ( I tend to babble). Could be wrong, I often am lol just the way I remember it and why I was willing to write it off as a low yielding cross. I have two different phenos from a 5 pack, one is skunky and stays squat, the other is lemony and stretches a fair amount at the flip, they veg at about the same rate with equal training necessary.
Sub has also been growing longer than I have been alive so gonna be a while before I am on that level....
Did your romulan have that weird round leaf growth, shit looks weird to me to not have serrations on the leaves.

I think companion crops are overrated. Just for looks really. I'm having a better run with just plain mulch (rice hulls). Don't need extra bacteria and N fixing...it's in my soil. I think Hy's doing a great job with his genetics. Quality over quantity any day. When you going to join the Bodhi Big Boy club :P

I have used sand as a soil topper to retain moisture and it worked great! Pea gravel is also good. Pumice was a pain because it floats.

You mean perlite floats? Never had a prob with pumice...maybe a size factor. Rice hulls are so cheap here, and disperse the water so nicely.

my romulan did have those leaves. I think sub does the lemony stretchy pheno. His has branches drooping over the cages from the weight of the buds. The looked stretchy and lanky, unable to hold them selves up.. At least for the secondary and lateral branches. The spacebomb is also a different pheno from space queen. I think. .... Either way that's his high resin strain / trichome strain. He uses that for all the frosty crosses. So I think you are correct on that with the cough.

I agree on companion crops. I'm going to use bark wood chips as mulch next time. The new strains batch. Not sure if I will use any mulch other than vermicompost.

When bodhi has a booth at the cannabis cup or hemp con or kush expo or distribute through dispensaries I will grab some. Customs nabs all the seeds that come into Cali. So its pointless to order.

. Cagegreen was at the Denver cup (I didn't go). They are supposed to be at san Fran cup too.

Gotta have VC on top, but can't let it dry out right? Let me know if ya want some B gear I can drive over :)
