looking good . I hate when I can't find my sharpie. Then i finally remember that it's in the maniofold of the plants .

How tall from top of the soil were they when starting 12/12? Have most of your tga grows doubled or have they tripled in size into 12/12? or less? From what you have seen.

Sup Hyroot?

Here's a little rundown of the TGA I've run so far.

-Space Queen (clones) - 2x
-Jack the Ripper (clones) - 2.5x
-Jillybean (clones) - 1.5-2x
- Chernobyl (clones) - 2.5x
- Pandora's Box (seeds) - 2.5-3x
- Cheese Quake (seeds) - 1.5-2.5x (mostly 2x, but had a couple lankier ones).
- Vortex - 1.5 - 3x (so far!)

All topped at least once, and all grown in at least 5 gallons of soil. There are definitely some lanky phenos in the bunch, as well as some branchy/viny phenos. I think this is a trait that the Cindy 99 in Subcool's Space Dude passes along, but who knows.

My Attitude order should show up today! Pretty excited about it. :)

Looks like I've got some soil mixing to do this weekend to prep for next round. I "retired" the soil that I grew my XJ-13's in; it will be growing tomatoes and various peppers for me this summer. So, that doesn't leave me enough recycled soil to fill six 10-gal pots... I'll mix some more up following my usual recipe that's floating around somewhere in this thread....

Man i gotta mix up some soil for the veggie garden too. My cayenne grew to be almost six feet tall and the habenero was five feet across. Plus with the sweet banana, hungarian wax, jalepeno, super chili and medusa i had great variety.

Just getting started with growing peppers. My climate isn't ideal for it, but I did grow some tasty jalapeños and seranos last year. Alongs with piles upon piles of tomatoes. Which reminds me, I probably should make tomato soup for dinner tonight. We STILL have some tomatoes frozen from last years crop...

So who out there has experience with Dinafem?

I'm skeptical about the stability of feminized seeds, and I'm not too fond of the various chemicals they use to make them... But they were free, so I'll probably pop them at some point...

I love the low expectations of the free seed! Sometimes a low bar is nice, just upside.

I grew out their blue cheese 4 or 5 years ago and it was a keeper. How's the vortex coming?

looking great.

do you think the wood chips from home depot would be ok as a mulch? I'm over companion crops and leaf mold as a mulch. they produce far too much nitrogen. I don't remember if you source your own or just buy the wood chips..

Hyroot- The stuff I'm using right now is E.B. Stone Orchid Bark.

I don't see why some product from Home Depot wouldn't work, but I'd steer clear of the decorative mulch products that have colored dyes added.
